When I turn on anti-aliasing, white ripples appear in the form of white dots on the grass and trees. Be that as it may, this is strange, but anti-aliasing works very poorly with AMD cards, especially on a 21: 9 monitor with a resolution of 2560: 1080. Particularly interferes in sunny and foggy weather.

We are currently looking in to what can be done and possibly fix the issue.
For now we do not need any other information, thank you.

To look at such a picture in the game is very bad, I checked on the nvidia graphics card there is no such problem. Changing the settings does not greatly affect. Hope to fix.
Hello developers, after a year, can there be any solution? Because playing with the pixels on the screen is not very pleasant.
I guess you should use post processing AA for a while, as it took them a year and still no solution. I personally use low post processing AA with 80% image sharpening in Radeon software on 1080p. Your mileage may wary, but on 1080p it looks good enough for very minimal performance loss (ofc hardware AA looks better). I noticed similar (not sure if it's exact one, but seems to be a transparency issue just like in DayZ) issue in Forza Horizon 4 on my RX580 (https://imgur.com/a/lo8zJZt), so I just assumed that it might be Radeon driver issue, or something. idk.
@JerryK
I tried as you say, but it doesn't help from transparent trees. Perhaps this is a problem of AMD drivers with MSAA antialiasing, but the developers of Dayz did not give a clear answer, as well as solutions.
@Geez
If I buy a card from Nvidia, there no such problem? Or will there be a solution for AMD? More than a year has passed, I'm not alone in seeing this..
Hello Melis.
Unfortunately I have no information I could provide in regards to the fix for this issue. In case new information appears, I will update the ticket asap.

The guys from Crossout succeeded, I don’t think it’s difficult. Now you can enjoy the game. Can you try to do it? AMD will help you with this.

@Melis
I confirm that on AMD, grass, trees, bushes give off a terrible picture with pixels and shine, this problem is observed only on AMD, on nvidia there is no such problem
funny, the topic is from 2020, but the problem has not been solved .... how much longer to wait?
lags in cities and settlements were also 2 years eventually they were fixed, yes very long, but still fixed, and fixed it driver amd, means this problem so same due to drivers amd
I every new amd driver send error report in amd driver "AND EVERYONE ADVISE THIS MAKE" in hope that one day I will read release notes new driver amd, and there will be written problems fixed: fixed texture pixelation in dayz game, and bye this no we play in game dayz with ugly graphics because on another this graphics not call
Still waiting...
If OP had a kid born on the day this ticket was opened, they could walk AND talk by now, ain't that beautiful?
Sorry for the jab but such a display of blatant carelessness towards AMD users from the devs is infuriating.
The bug is indeed still in the game.
This is on my RX 6700XT, driver is 23.4.1 Adrenalin.
I would greatly appreciate an update.
I solved the problem, everyone is just guys, I bought an rtx 3060. And by the way, I stopped playing dayz. Thanks to the developers, you did everything so that I could find projects better than yours.
the problem has been around since 2020, or even earlier, and still hasn't been solved, which means that everyone doesn't give a damn about this problem, doesn't care about the players who have this problem.
Considering that the problem has existed for a very, very long time, no one is going to fix it...maybe we need to wait another 5 years, but this is not certain, the only thing that can help now is replacing the video card with an Nvidia, but is it worth doing this for the sake of dayz?
I don't know what to tell you guys, I just stopped playing dayz when I fixed the problem. But the developers have great support of course.
By the way, it works like this on Nvidia 40 series. I just checked. Show me how it works for you?
It's an AMD card issue. I used to have an Nvidia 1070 before my current build and never had this problem. Ironically my Nvidia 1070 is better suited for DayZ than my AMD 7800xt lol. I've been doing some research on it and apparently it has to do with how AMD cards handle something called "Alpha To Coverage" or ATOC for short. I've found forum threads about this issue going back as far as 2012 for Arma 2. Apparently how Bohemia Interactive do ATOC really messes with AMD cards unfortunately, but there has to be a way to fix it. Maybe Bohemia Interactive and/or AMD will fix it some day because the game really looks ugly with foliage smoothing turned off :(
This is absolutely unacceptable and has made me purchase another gpu. Hope it gets fixed soon for the people who cannot afford a switch like that.
Also, I don't blame the devs for this. They are just people doing their job that I believe most are very passionate about. Problems like these not getting fixed is mostly a managment and money hungry corporation/company issue.
