Yes it happens sometimes at 1.74. In different situations.

But there are two reasons in this situation:
- can not find the path to the car

The day before yesterday I updated Arma3 from ver DEV v1.75 to the ver1.74 . It was necessary to download 7.4GB of updates.
When upgrading to the disk, a 20GB cache appears.
This is absolutely not normal, when the update requires the amount of free space on the HDD, 3-4 times greater than the amount of the update itself.
After the update is completed, the folder Arma3 v1.74 has a capacity of = 26.2GB
Prior to the update, the volume of the Arma3DEV folder v1.75 = 27.5GB. The folder became smaller - by 1.3GB.

The range settings of the "video settings" of the game do not affect the range for the server (or network mission). Your settings are saved in your profile.

I always get any value of thrust from 0 to 100%, I change the position of the manipulator from 0 to Z +. This should work identically on analog tuning, and on keyboard tuning.
Thrust from 0 to 100% and from 100 to 0% can be changed by both options, and does not depend on what manipulator is used.
The analogue variant differs only in that the key must be fixed in a certain position. Use the keyboard for analog traction - hard for traction control. It is beneficial to use a manipulator for analogue traction control. But the manipulator works well, and can duplicate the keyboard control of the thrust, but the analogue should be left blank.
Use "Stick Z + Axis" to increase traction, and "Stick Z-Axis" to reduce traction. Or vice versa, swap places.
