All this screenshots were taken in TERRAIN: standard settings. About MP: we all know that most of the MP missions are made in standard or low TERRAIN quality because of obvious reason - low performance. So, this is something that i find seriously important, lets say for example: in MP enemy player is prone and u try to shoot him, but nothing happens because bullets are hitting invisible wall.

This happened to me with a friend. We had a sniper war because he was talking too much ermm... anyway, the only reason he spotted me is because i was hiding on a dirt mound. He saw through the dirt mound and started shooting me. I'm there watching his bullets impact the dirt on the other side, frustrated, because he wouldn't have seen me otherwise. Not sure if this could be a solution, but sub pixel rendering, object draw distance/aggregation.

It has to do with sloppy RV4. When you start putting TERRAIN in VIDEO OPTIONS bellow ULTRA you can start to see stuff and rocks floating. If this will ever be fixed it would required major overhaul of engine imho, and I doubt that will happen unless BI proves otherwise.

did you have fog enabled?
can you produce a repro mission?
what are your view distance object distance settings

Please fix it, if you look at report date (december 2013) its really one big lead ball at the leg in whole arma.

I have repeated it. But the reason of creation of the ticket was in another.

I examine the horizon at distance 2-3 kilometers round the position. I can see that has to be hidden by texture of a surface of the earth. All tops of hills the transparent. All constructions and rocks in air. Equipment and the people wishing to keep the hidden situation are visible. It should not depend on settings of range of a portrayal of objects and textures. It should not be transparent as constructions and rocks are not transparent.

All this is broken in a game. You think - you it isn't visible. But it can be not so.

You are playing on low terrain settings. Play on ultra settings. This is used to reduce the amount of triangles used to render terrain. It's what keeps lower end PCs in the game.

This can not affect the problem. I can not keep my stels position, because I do not control the position of the players settings. I can open someone's stels position, it does not control my settings.
The problem is not how the landscape looks. The problem is transparency, which should not be.
You can find the player where it should not be viewed by changing the settings.

You can force these settings for your mission if it is a highly competetive PVP mission.

It's a good offer. But most players do not control the server, and do not create a mission and most likely will not try to solve these issues with the server administrator. Those who do missions and control the server do not care about it.
But all players are forced to face a not fair game. To establish the fact of violation of prohibitions is impossible, everything can be explained by chance and other reasons.
The reputation of the game can suffer - nobody likes fraud, and does not want to face it.
How many servers have a lock, this setting?
On servers only block the maximum range of visibility.
For this reason, I have the opinion that the server in principle should not have the setting below:
-Very High = 6.25
-Ultra = 3.125
This is not one problem that reduces the impression of Arma3. If attention to these problems does not change, it makes no sense to continue the dialogue. Or this problem should be, in some way or another, transferred to server administrators as a desirable configuration guide.
