When the mission is at the briefing stage, any player on the server can choose the side and slot of the specialty. After the start of the mission, when the player joins the server, he will receive the first free slot for the team with fewer players. If the players have an equal number of teams, the server will place you in the first free slot for the blue team. The server does not allow changing the specialty slot and commands for the connected players, in the continuation of the whole game.
If during the game, for whatever reason you are disconnected from the server, you can return to your team if there are fewer players on your team. In all other situations, the player can wait indefinitely for this opportunity, get into his team.
Please make a correction for this in the upcoming release of the update.

AFAIK that's already fixed on perf/prof build.

Pref V5 fixed the issue for Local MP only, but issue on Dedicated still remains.

Entry to the server limits the selection of the team of players and slots of the specialty. The server loses its players and the popularity of the server falls. Is there any progress in resolving the problem?

Still seems to be an issue with 1.72 hotfix, both local MP and DS. Can't change slots.

guys this is not acceptable !! This gotta get fixed ASAP i have never seen such major bug gets ignored

Any update @razazel? This is really affecting the joining of players and makes it hard for server to keep the population up. You guys need to work on keeping people more informed. You want people to make servers that people enjoy and tell their friends to buy //YOUR// product and play it, Lining your pockets while pulling the pants of us consumers down and thoroughly rustling our jimmies. I have no idea how hard it is to fix the issue so I wont pretend I do, If its going to take a week tell us, if its going to take a year, Tell us. Just for the love of everyone give us a answer! We are starting too loose faith in you BI! FIX THE DAMN ISSUE ALREADY AND SHUT US UP!

The 1.74 update was merely a hotfix for a different critical issue, this issue should be fixed in the next proper update. It is a very complex issue that was not really easy to fix so unfortunately it took us long.
