were you able to observe similar issues on Stable branch?
in this case it seems that running the Dependency Walker and repairing the corrupt files will be the solution. Are you having issues running any other games?
@PFPowah, try these possible solutions. Could you also upload a full troubleshooting report for the developers to see? Follow these steps to prepare a report:
Starts to bother me i spent my money on this game.. :c

This bug ignored more than two years!
Instead of solving this problem, after the update 1.60 was added a the simular bug - https://feedback.bistudio.com/T117123
Now the automaticaly stand up has not one, but two reasons, for which a player can be killed in the most opportune moment.
I am having trouble, my Arma keeps crashing. it lets me join the server abnd walk around, but after a minute or two, It crashes and gives me an Access Violation Exit code. can anyone help ?
I have a video uploaded here with various clips of the memory leak in action, is this the same problem you're experiencing Chillroy?
Checked. Everything works well. Thank you.
Apparently the problem happens only if you approach the character as he talks on the radio on your radio frequency.
Crap!!...I don't know what to do! Multiplayer is what my sons and I play most often. This is getting frustrating.
seriously... just stop running around wounded. Or don't get shot.
No need, since you are switched to the branch that is not being updated.
Hate to ask but I glanced at the link....it's rather confusing. Is there somewhere I could have specific instructions on going back to a prior version?
Ok great! I'll certainly try that.
Would using an older version in any way inhibit normal gameplay?
It is possible, Steam should provide option LEGACY in Betas menu
https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Arma_3_Steam_Branches
Access code should be Arma3Legacy162 for previous stable.
Just out of curiosity, is there a way I could potentially revert back to an older version so that I could actually play?
Yes, I have verified version 1.64.138732
Thank you so much!
I was hopeful yesterday because I actually played epoch mod for maybe 30 minutes.. I left that server, removed all mods and joined a KOTH server and it crashed again within minutes.
That would be welcome. And as said you can check the version of the game through launcher. Latest update has revision as stated above 1.64.138732
I was on last night and verified game cache at that time...so, without actually knowing for sure, I am comfortable assuming I have the updated version. If this is the case, will I need to provide additional crash file/reports?
Current stable is 1.64.138732
You can check the version through Launcher > Options > down in the roll-down menu is "Game" you can check the version there. If you do not have that one already, try verifying the game data. Not exctly Arma 3 problem but this can make Steam check the versions and download the update.
I have no idea what current stable is btw
I assumed any updates would automatically be downloaded, so I've watched closely and haven't seen any. How would I go about getting this update?
here is a vanilla launch.
I have checked the reports and the latest rpt indicates that you actually ran it with the mods, please try to run the game without any mods.
here is one upon crash
Such is unfortunately the Dev branch, sometimes it gets broken, it should be fixed with the next Dev update.
Sorry for getting back to you only now, there indeed was, a Hotfix was released for current Stable, should be already available.
@Cavdrkz24, try these possible solutions as well as re-downloading and installing the mod.

Is there an update scheduled for release? Just trying to stay up to date here.
Latest patch didn't fix this issue.
Duplicate of https://feedback.bistudio.com/T120348 ?
This seems to be an unintended side effect of making the player list a child of RscListNBox, instead of the old RscListbox. when calling lbsize on a RscListNBox the actual output is rows * columns. This can most easily be fixed by updating the display script to take the columns into account.
same after hotfix and i did validate as well.
With and without mods. Same issue noticed hotfix gonna do more testing.
I validated both server and client same issue so far
Hi, we experienced some issues with the old FT so I am sorry for the late response.
yes, I will try it again.
This is not bug is not solved that I'm aware of.
Unfortunately I do not have access to the files from support. While it is possible they might make it to me, it would be better to upload the files here, so it's faster.
Hello, i am sorry for the late reply, we had some issues with the old FT.
Razel I emailed you a response with a mission file to the support mailbox.
did you verify integrity of the game cache for the server as well as the admin client?
First of all mistakes with memory have to be solved in pure Arma3. There is no sense something to look for in other cases of manifestation of problems.
+100%
UPDATE: Just noticed I can change the memory allocation method through the launcher in Parameters tab. So far it seems the Intel TBB 4 allocatar gives me the longest play time before the crash happens, but also gives me the worst in game performance in terms of FPS.
@WarLikesGamers, the instructions are in my first post.
Okay, the mod that I'm using is the SOF WWII mod pack and everytime I try to launch with it, it says "Launcher has detected that Arma 3 was closed unusually and it gives me the exit code as 0x0000DEAD-
Do you think it's still hardware-related issue?
