I realize this, but I had the SUIT and couldn't paint it. I died and now have the gun wrap and head piece that I could not paint for a while either but all of a sudden I can paint now. So I would consider this the same issue since they are all ghillie related.

all of a sudden I can paint mine green again. I did change from a full damaged can to a full pristine can. not sure if this would make a difference.

there is a category for "stuck player" instead of choosing "character". when you use it, it will automatically assign your ticket to someone to get fixed so your issue gets fixed faster.

All servers are down atm due to a ddos attack, so this may not be a battleye issue

Still stuck

This is very annoying. I have been hearing this since about 0.42. Kinda just got used to it. Kinda like hearing the ocean while nowhere near it.

I have not found a crash site in weeks. Been holding onto a coupled stanag mag for a long time hoping to find another crash site with M4. I too feel that this is due to persistence servers.

If you swim in a deeper part of pond or the ocean your backpack and weapons will fall off of you. having a rangefinder does not make this happen.

It would help if you actually gave a description other than you can't play, such as what error you are getting. I will assume that BattlEye is just not updating so you can;t play because of this.Try going to dayz properties in steam, click local files tab, then hit verify integrity of game cache. This will make sure everything is updated, even BattlEye. It may say nothing downloaded but it will still have downloaded stuff.

With the 0.51 update, zombies are starting to warp to me as well. They will be up to 200 yards away and see me then disappear and magically be right next to me a couple of seconds later.

I have never found one anywhere. I thought that they didn't even spawn yet. Been carrying an aks 74u forever now but still can't get a mag for it.

Same here. My guy spun around quite a bit when this happened. I thought it was a new hack at first then realized it was do to desync after I looked at the player list and saw everybody had it just as bad as me.

Had two tents disappear from an official server. IL 2-10. 4 rifles and a lot of gear and ammo gone.

Had a similar problem with wrong signature file. In steam, go to library, right click dayz and click properties. Click local files tab and click verify integrity of game cache. It will check all of your files for updates. This should force an update of the signature file. As for the time ban, its not a time ban. Ir is because you were just on a server so they have a 30 second or a 60 second time countdown to try to stop people from server hopping really fast.

But it is the same problem as in the other two posts. What server you are on does not matter, the fact that it is happening is the problem. You were playing and then the server restarted. You joined either the same server or another server and you were a fresh spawn. That is the issue with all three of these posts. This one did not need to be made since there were already two others for the same problem.

Yeap, but why did you not search and see if there were other tickets opened for this same reason. Like the other two that were. Maybe if people didn't make multiple tickets for the same reason so they had lots of extra work to do they could address issues faster.

Interestingly, I have two tents, one tent door works and the other does not work.

The distance does not matter. I emptied a 30 round mp5 mag about 10 meters from my brother and he heard nothing from it. He could see my firing but no sound from the gun was made for him.

LOL. This happens to me all the time on CS:S. Press fire and one shot is fired and then switch to knife or some BS. I have had it happen on DayZ a couple of times, usually a result of a bugged zombie hit during desync. The amount of time after this hit does not seem to matter but the first time I fire after it I get one shot off then it will switch to something dumb like a canteen.

This happens when in the apartment sometimes as well. This is because most items that s[awn in the apartments are about 3/4 in the floor, so when you drop things they will sink into the floor and you can't see them visually or in the vicinity when you press tab. Lost many guns to this and one time a backpack.

I just got hit by another hack. A clan logged onto one of the official Illinois servers and warped all of the loot on the map to their location. I was on the second floor of the jailhouse at green mountain when a gun on the floor disappeared. there was no loot when i walked in the room so i went back downstairs. the backpack that was on the floor by the front door was gone as well. when i looked at the player list there was me, the three people who had been on since before me, and 5 guys that just got on from the same clan so I would assume it was this new clan that showed up.

This is getting very annoying. At least let us eject the ammo whether it is 1 or 2 rounds in it and have them lying on the ground

There are two settings for this for some reason, fast forward and turbo. I had to have the 2x W set for both of these for it to work. Try this and let us know if it works for you. It worked for me.

I have had the same problem. I lost an akm today because of this. Kinda bad when ammo is getting hard to find. Luckily I had another gun with me.

With the 0.50 update all of my tents have disappeared. I had tents on 3 different servers so I assume this was a game-wide wipe.

With the update to 0.50 I had to start a new tent. I put one up 3 days ago and put a bunch of stuff in it. To my delight nothing inside had disappeared. A couple of minutes ago I went to set up another tent, and my tent that was set up 3 days ago is gone. I will set up my new tent and get back to you if anything happens to this one as well.

thefinn - It is an issue about not seeing what is in the tent, but if you don't fill the last slot when you go back you just put something in that slot and everything shows up again. However the main point is that things keep disappearing from tents. This is a similar problem to the first aid kit not showing anything but the two are not entirely related. One does not cause the other.

Hey, it's an alpha game. I understand that. I just keep testing what I can do with the tents and give feedback. To be honest I am surprised that they work as well as they do now. When tents first came out they just disappeared on server restart. One of these days everything will work and it will be beautiful. Until then we shall keep testing the limits of new stuff and have fun with it. I just have to remember not to fill the tent completely. Always leave the bottom corner empty for now. So the server that I play on got stuck in a restart loop for about 20 hours. It would restart to 8 AM then sit there at this time for about 20 minutes and change to 1200 PM and then restart again and it kept doing this. After 20 hours it finally started to work again. When I logged back on and looked in my tents all of the clothes that I had in them were gone. Two gorka pants, one gorka jacket, and a ttsko jacket. I also had a high capacity vest disappear. They all had stuff in them as well like ammo and food. Everything else was still in the tents like the backpack, canteen, gorka helmet, guns and magazines.

It has gotten better. For 12 days nothing disappeared, Until today. I had a camouflage vest with a magnum and ammo in it disappear. I am assuming that it is because of the update today because it was in the tent since my last update. I have found that backpacks, guns, and clothing for the most part don't disappear. However if you just put food, ammo, or magazines in the tent and not in a backpack or in clothes then place that item in the tent, then they are gone after s server restart.

My clothes and any wood I put in keep disappearing from tents. I have a mosin and a backpack that seem to stay but just about everything else disappears after server restarts.

Now my tent has disappeared. It was there when I was on earlier today, bot off for 10 minutes, and got back on and it was gone. This happened when they introduced the tents but I thought this was fixed. I don't know if it has to do with the server restarts which supposedly the issue last time.

there is plenty of loot, try a different server. i have 2 hard cases full of food plus extra in my backpack. food is everywhere if you know where to look.

This also happens with the mosin as well with both Pu and Long range scopes. Seems to have started with 49 update.

Maybe the people who vote negative know how to break line of site and use melee weapons on zombies properly. learn to play and stop being a retard.

I haven't had any problems shooting zeds, however i will admit it is a bit hard to use melee weapons on them. It can be ridiculous at how many and how far zombies come from and will chase you. I fired two rounds from an m4 a couple of days ago at NWAF and sat in a prison building for 5 minutes while zeds seemed to show up about every 30 seconds.

I still feel it is a bug. The persons name should stay with the body until they actually re spawn, not when they hit re spawn and are still waiting to spawn. Give us like 30 seconds to check the name or something. Or it should change their name to Robert Paulson.

Found another flash grenade today. Threw it, didn't do anything. Shows up on ground after using but can't pick it up or do anything with it.

Maybe you should calm down and just offer your services to the Dayz team instead of swearing at them. And the feedback is not meant for suggestions. It is meant for bug reports to be sent in to be fixed. If you knew what the system was for and how to use it then you wouldn't be making an idiot out of yourself.

In steam go to Dayz properties. Click "Betas" tab. Change the drop down tab from "none" to "experimental". Click close. Dayz will update. this takes some time. When it is done change it back to "none". This will take some time again. Try to play and see what happens. I can't guarantee it will fix it for you but it did for me.

OK, aside from that funny bit, this happened to me. I was able to solve this by changing to the experimental and then changing back.

This is the second time this has happened to me. Getting tired of it. I know dying is part of DayZ, I just wish I wouldn't get screwed out of all my stuff in such a lame way. This needs to be addressed.

the multiple displays are your problem. I have 3 displays and this happens quite often to me. I have only had the mouse disappear once, but I do have the mouse go off the game onto another screen all the time and have to drag it back over.

So I got back on today and my hoodie was gone. There were 3 sks's on the ground as well as 5 75 round drum mags.

SO I got back on today and the hoodie, hat, boots, and glasses I put in the tent were still there, however the pants were gone. Another oddity happened too. There were multiple rifles in front of my tent that were the same as the one in my tent as well as 3 75 round drum mags in front of the tent and I only had one in the tent originally. Another way to dupe the server to get more free stuff.

Happened to me as well. However, you need to understand that this game is in alpha and this kind of stuff happens. You agree to knowing this every time you open the game and click the big red button. Nobody ever gets their stuff back. Stop whining and just find more stuff like the rest of us.

Have same issue. Sometimes I even get hit by a zombie after killing them.

Can confirm. The server I play on restarts every 4 hours. I had been searching for a tent for 6 days and finally found one. I sent it up at grid 066 012 making it very unlikely anyone would find it. After about an hour after setting up the tent the server restarted. When I rejoined it took me about 10 minutes to get back to where my tent was and it was gone. Amazingly I quickly found another tent and set this one up at grid 013 011 and stayed until the server restarted. When I rejoined after the server came back up this tent was gone as well.

I can confirm. The military barracks windows are invincible. I tried to shoot a zombie a couple of times out of the barracks window and nothing went through.

I have the same thing happen to me. Anywhere from 20 minutes to 2 hours (usually about an hour and a half in) frame rate drops like a bomb. Most of the time it only does it when I'm turning but has also happened when just walking or running straight ahead. It happens inside building and outside. In forests and in open fields. I get 60 fps in game normally but when this happens it will drop to as low as 10 sometimes.I gave tried about every video setting there is but still happens.

if you had read the update blog, you would know that they are planning on implementing a patch next week and everyone was notified when the tents were added that they did not save anything in them yet.

It is because it is night time on the server that you are on. When you go to join a server look at the server time. Anything in between 0800 and 1900 should be daylight. Everything else is nighttime and is dark.
