Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

After a large server desync, I lost control of my character. I was not able to move in a any direction.

Here is the video of my experience: http://youtu.be/Bgv_fMMyjL4

After logging out and connecting to a new server. Immediately I lost control of my character again and was like it was in my video.

Had a similar issue, and was accompanied by my character making strange movements, in particular spining in place, without and input.

Same here. My guy spun around quite a bit when this happened. I thought it was a new hack at first then realized it was do to desync after I looked at the player list and saw everybody had it just as bad as me.

Hello grizzlywinter,

In case the problem persists, you can send me a link to your Steam profile, and I'll see if it's related to a problem with your account in our database. Example: "http://steamcommunity.com/id/xxxxxxxxxx/"

Also, please let me know if your character is on a "1st/3rd Person" or a "1st Person" server.

If you prefer to send your Steam ID url in a private message, you can click the "Make Private" button to the left of your message after you click the button labeled "Add Note".

Thanks,
JStewart

Thankfully it did not persist. I logged off for a bit and came back and no problems.
Though this did persist through 2 different servers. These were 1st person servers.
If you still need my Steam ID I would be happy to provide.

confirm. I was in kamyshovo and was walking in circles with crosshair on sky. seems like a bug.

Thanks for getting back on this issue. I'll close your ticket then, but in case you encounter any further problems, please feel free to open up a new ticket in the Feedback Tracker.

Regards,
JStewart
