entering vehicle helps only for first time on next respawn nothing will help and you will stuck in any static weapon . It's really annoying bug as server admins think that your cheating but you really can't do much about it. Please fix this as it's very irritate

After several tests it seems that you can be stuck in any kind of vehicules, but it is harder to reproduce.

This is an issue that happens with lots of things when viewed in certain ways.

For instance, if you view a hard shell hanger through the window of another hard shell hanger, the whole other hanger will be this sky blue color.

It can also be seen when riding in the back of the Zamak (covered) - the windows in the back part show the back of the cabin, which appears this blue color.

It's currently working like that - camera shake in difficulty options disables all camera shakes (explosion, vehicle passing, G-loading, scripted...).
Subject to review, but we can't promise anything.

Cool vehicle, I hadn't seen it before. I believe diversity in civilian vehicles is an exellent goal for modders, so devs could spend time on development of the core game. Still upvoted, because it is a nice vehicle, and it would be nice if it would be made by anyone, BIS or community.

If you go into the Editor and place a "Van Wreck", which can be found under Empty->Wrecks->Van Wreck.

Experiencing desync issues after this patch as well, although not as severe as described. The delay of gunfire in multiplayer is several seconds however and entities (AI, Players, vehicles) zip around all over the place despite a desync value of 0.

Same problem here : Massive Desynch with a value @ 0

Everybody is standing still doing nothing and then all suddenly they all move by kilometers...

I often dies with no gunshots or whatever.

My other games have no lag/desync issues so i assume it's only arma 3 related...

No, we're just saying that BI is struggling to implement even some of the most important of feature requests, and ignoring anything on the tracker (suggestions, requests, etc) that aren't bugs, so just don't be surprised if they don't get around to this soon.

Maybe a Dev will feel like devoting some spare hours to this, maybe not. It's just too hard to tell.

P drive works again with dev branch, however DevP doesn't seem to fix anything.
I had to move all the files manually to get buldozer to work again.

This is exhausting, for every bug i fix two new come up.
Now buldozer is all fucked up, viewer doesn't work, can't attach anything, the P drive seems to disappear at random.
I don't even know where to start.
Is it too much to ask to have a PROPER STABLE release where i double click on the tools i want to use and everything works as it's supposed to? :\

Buldozer still fails to work even after i followed the guide you provided.
The paths are correct and buldozer is where it's supposed to be, it just keeps saying "External Viewer: Attach Failed. No Viewer Found".
P drive may have disappeared because of my own fault though.
Is there going to be a stable hotfix?

Step by step:

  1. Buldozer: I invite you to take a look at the manual, in most of cases, it's a matter of configuration. https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Buldozer_Manual
  2. P Drive cannot disappear because of the tools (except if you click on Unmount P from arma3tools.exe). Be sure you have nothing else impacting on the subst.

Also, some users have, from time to time, all their substitute drives hidden. To be sure it's not only hidden, open a console and type "explorer p:", if the explorer shows up, it's ok. If not, there is something that unmounts P

Can you confirm me you're using Windows 8 and not Windows 7 and tell me if the hot fix works for you?

Downloading and replacing them from your website didn't work.

It worked by switching to devbranch but threw me a ton of errors in the dialog window.
I couldn't take any note.

I'm using Win8, yes.
Is this going to be released as a stable branch hotfix too? I don't like using devbranch.

I can also confirm this issue with 80+ players, sometimes we can go an hour or two without any desync at all. All of a sudden the desync will kick in, people can't see anybody else moving & the server has to be restarted.

We get lots of erros like this spammed down the client side log when ever it happens, there seems to be no pattern to it's occurences.

This is all since the patch update. We never had desync before & have tried all of your config suggestions, unfortunately none have had any effect. This really needs to be fixed as we're losing players daily.

The weirdest part of the dysync issue is that some servers are affected while some aren't. This has made the players on my server shift to other normal servers.

Right now I have no clue how many of them will come back to my server, which used to have about 500 active players.

I've invested a lot of time and money on my ArmA 3 server. How would you react to the (very likely) player loss of many servers affected by this desync bug? I'd like to hear an official answer from BI Studio.

guaranteedUpdates = false;

helped a lot on our server as far as i can tell. before this config line we had high desyncs even shortly after a server restart.

with the value set it helped a lot and everything looks smooth again (30 minutes uptime without problems now)
i don't know how it looks with higher playercounts as there are now >10 players due to problems since patch.

maybe the issues occur if the network parameters for the server are tweaked?
we are using modified settings to allow a higher player count on the server.

i update this post if i get updated info's.

I played yesterday and my desync was 0, though I still couldn't see helicopters... Guess its not related to the desync error, or the menu was late or something.

Dwarden nothing seems to be working i've changed my basic.cfg and also put guaranteedUpdates = false;

Doesnt matter how many players are on the server just happens after 1 hour of uptime max desync for most then it may go if we are lucky then it will only come back but it will hit us all

guaranteedUpdates = false;

tell us if it have any effect
but make sure you tested it in depth to be sure

as it may not help
cause in 1.27 DEV branch there are new additional desync fixes

Same problem here. Before the update there were 0 lag/desync issues on my server with 50 players. Now about 3/4 of the players have a 100k desync and helicopters are glitching and floating in the air.

(As a player) I have the same problem. I only saw about 3-5 people with a normal desync. This might the reason why I can't see helicopters in multiplayer.
