1. turn engines on and let them fully spool up
2. select "get out" then immediately go to full throttle
3. the animation continues even though the plane is now moving
4. when going 1st person, the camera source is indeed from the perspective of the pilot standing next to the plane.
5. everything seems to work properly still (ejecting, shooting, etc) although I don't know if you are more susceptible to bodily damage since you aren't protected by the cockpit.
