yeah yeah yeah,

we need a radius zone for that waypoint so the units dont simply fuck off 400m lol
and the soldiers need to be more casual, in respect of walking animations, sitting, laying down, talking animations (maybe sound?)

what would you do if you were in helmand province, and stuck at home base for 6 hours.

this has gone way off topic here.... this ticket is about casual animations not women there is a separate ticket for that...

can the devs please tell us what information they need?
if the list is too big to choose from, then let the devs decide whats implemented... leave it at that

i think the following casual animations are needed on dismissed...

  • smoking
  • sleeping (when finds a bed in a tent?)
  • talking, laughing.
  • different walking animations (so people do not walk exactly like everyone else)
  • interacting with enviroment...checking the tank or randomly going to the outpost tower, or sitting on a chair vice versa.

we should narrow down some animations so the devs will actually look into it, not a huge list.

who agrees??

hang onnnnnn a second mr...

all i disagree with is the fact that you would be running around with a bomb in your hands, infact the explosive is left in a safe place such as backpack until you reach target.

a detonator as a weapon...now that i agree with, countless of times ive blown myself up. but theoretically you should get to the target THEN the animation that shows the unit actually arming the bomb not just it appearing or whatever.

i havent got a problem with CS, just CS isnt really realistic.
the ONLY thing i wouldnt like is the soldier running around with a bomb in his hands basically making himself a target and you cant shoot the enemy back while he shoots your face off.

detonator as a weapon type _ agreed.
animation showing soldier arming bomb _ agreed
sound of soldier arming bomb _ agreed

in the other hand i have changed my vote as i do want to see something SIMILAR

if it was selected as a weapon and you could see the unit carrying the item, it would look like counter-strike

however... i do think we need some arming animations and more sounds like beep beep etc....

this should be fairly easy to create :(

please bis so we can observe the FPS without having the need to keep popping into the options. i also feel that it doesn't give an accurate reading as the game is paused so nothing is moving.

yes i know that im currently on the dev build.

i was talking about implementing the counter in game as well as in the options menu...

i already have noticed that there is a FPS counter in the video options that is why i made this ticket :)

ohhh this is what i have been seeing pretty much since alpha, zoomed in i felt like the weapon was hesitant to fire then when i look into the sky it cleared...

narrowed it down to performance/fps issue.

yeah i loved it!! the fact that you could command your team through the head set was realistic enough for me!

i think the eye squinting and the pointing animations would be un useful in arma 3 :/ i think it may be too much work for the dev team but everything else i agree with :D in couple of years this game will have mods, addons, patches the works to make it the best FUN game we have ever played...

even better times.

just tried this in latest dev build.

me as a sniper in bushes 500m away
first i shot at a group of 4 units.
result - 3 of them turned and killed me straight away...

second i shot at 4 units ungrouped.
result - they didnt kill me straight away but just stood next to eachother like dummies. then noticed me and shot me. so more of a delay.

something isnt right here.
