the thing is I really find it hard to understand all these scripts :/
its like Chinese language to me and most likely other people too.

its just an idea so everyone gets the full potential out of the game.
at the moment new players will find it really hard building decent missions when experienced scripters can do this easily. if that makes any sense?

or is there anything than can help by BIS implementing a script help feature?
like preset examples?

I think there should be a 20-30m (ok 25m meet in the middle) dive on the action menu with a pencil dive animation??

very true but 30m is ok! :D please dont reduce i dont think the ai is smart enough to lower his helicopter down that low on top of water

I will confirm when I am home. if there isn't this issue with 20 meters.
I think it should be around 30 as it would be more realistic?

could you guys play around with it?

regarding the carrier maybe it could be implemented as a static object instead so users have the option... :D there 2 birds 1 stone.

orrr if they decide not to implement it, there is a current carrier on WIP on armaholic :D looks good actually.... so chill out.

actually maybe the marksman should have 2 different versions... 1 with gillie 1 without! same maybe with sniper 1 with 1 without.

and the gillie suit can be taken off etc like all other uniforms :)

please bare in mind that all arma series had marksman + SNIPER.

obviously the sniper has not been released as of yet.

hold shift and make sure u press f1 before double clicking.

[EDIT] you will see the the name change from the waypoint to what ever object unit is placed on :) hope this helps

oooo that would be awesome a low pass filter might be what we need, this will hopefully adjust the helicopter sounds and the big rumbles of an artillery attack :D this has potential

[EDIT] should really unscope from all ironsights... try rolling with a real weapon while aiming down the sights

i believe this is the same issue as the classic OFP bomberman problem.
im sure the developers can easily fix this when they fix the grenade and mine explosive power.

also like it runs down hills collating at the bottom into a flood maybe which you can swim in?

and slowly evaporates when its sunny?

im sure years down the line there will be many many many many different mods, addons that will blow you away and you will forget duel wield

I agree about the comparability mod also..
Who knows maybe bis can make some sort of external server browser like PWS has that can filter by what addons you have enabled vice versa.

Aslong as the decent servers have 1 or 2 major addons I.e ace then I'm sure it can be manageable

It's when servers have 20 addons and its a pisstake

if you dont like the idea of war simulator, dont play

I agree, the lighting effects either show up good or not at all depending time of day.

it needs to be stronger lighting and more dynamic

i fully agree, triggers get confused when too much things are synced to them...
i.e. task destination, task states, create task itself, etc etc...

i find it mind bogging that i have to use 300 triggers in one mission
people have said to me on the forums to use scripting to make the tasks work... why the fuck should i learn to script when these task modules claim to do this for us...

i think its the destination module itself (doesnt need to be synced to anything else other than create task!!) and the triggers that set off the set task states.
i previewed a mission of mine yesterday and it all worked when i wanted to play again it didnt... i made it that the tasks auto assign when created (also buggy)
and 1 out of 4 destinations showed up... b r o k e n

and i think people should carry extra attachments i.e.

a command "go silent" then ai attach silencers... etc..[SPECIAL FORCES UNITS]

at the moment there isnt a helipad, and not all the time the helicopter will have access to one it is just a useful fix
