Human body Hit effect
Reviewed, LowPublic

Small dust puff effect on the spot a human body is hit by a bullet or other projectile. Keep the current blood sputter to happen only when the Head or arms and legs are hit.
Rational: Uniform, vest and gear in general will not allow the blood to show immediately in the air and in general the soldiers are bound to be dusty anyway. So when hit by bullet on the torso, a dust cloud effect should show but when hit in the head or arms and legs, then blood cloud is fine to show. :)

Obviously this is just food for thought in the birth of an amazing simulation.
Many thanks and appreciations!

It's quite unclear what you are asking for with this ticket. Please edit the title and description to indicate:

  1. What is the current situation?
  2. How do you think it would be improved?

Blood sputter appears wherever you are hit.

Blood sputter only appear in lower arm / arm and legs.
Hits in the torso or any other protected area should
make appear a little dustcloud at the point of the impact.

i've seen body/clothing hits in real combat footage. there's definitely dust, especially in arid regions, but mostly, you don't see anything.

the blood dust cloud effect is a sphere sprite, just changing it into a splash particle or a dust particle that can drift away like the bullet ground impact dust would improve it already.

I did not realize until recently that you guys have actually implemented the dust effect I suggested a while ago. Simply amazing. You keep track of everything
The effect looks very nice indeed.
Many thanks :)
