I didnt downvote you but i know a reason. A you spam uss you litirally made a new post to promote this one. You update this one every 5 to 15 min to stay on the main page. And you keep refering to things this does not really implement on.. things that you would see in some arcade shooter. ArmA is about real life stategy and army not about some stealthy bullshit with crosbows an knifes. You are just a normal grunt that could die anny second so you have to play as a team. People keep wanting stuff like knifes crosbows enc enc to make the game more fun... wich is funny since this game is already fun the way it is. If you want to swing around knifes, crosbows, dartguns and be a stealthy guy that has to do splintercell kinda executions enc then go play cod, battlefield, Splintercel, Hitman, Assasins creed, Far cry, Crysis, Rainbow six or something else. It is really pissing me off that people that want shit like crosbows and things to be made easyer for the user get most likes (not you) then people like me who are trying to emprove the game by using the feedback tracker.

Lol didnt saw your post and just posted mine regarding the same thign. I know how in ace this has been implemented by scrolling and holding tab. WOrked out pretty nice. I hope you get more likes then this and that the makers look into this.

Standing? Ever tried standing for a long time with 50 KG of gear? No you haven't. Also game needs to be more fluid? This game is trying to simulate real life events as dus its a simulator. Not because you feel like this is not taking enough time for some action means that realistic features that need some working on are bad.

Well its just a suggestion annyway. But its actually quite usefull.. .US military has tested and used mulitple vers of wingsuits its simply safer then Halo jumps or normal parajumps. Imagine this you have enemy planes Covering an area you cannot enter without high risk of getting shot down so you Do a halo jump with wingsuits. Flying over the frontline into enemy positions taking down Radar implacements, AA weapon, depots, enc. Would be quite usefull.

Yhea but like i mentioned not everyone liks 3d editor cuzz you have to much things to take care of such as camera movemnt. Note if they are gona implement 3d they need some sort of Xray to see trough the outside walls so players can place stuf easy inside of the buildings.

AHh okey thanks m8 but the Addbackpack thingy. ALso yes Get pos and X action Eject has been know to cause this issue. You tell them to get the hell out and it will litiraly TP them in the air. For some reason it does not automaticaly tell them that IF higher then alt 200 Playaction "freefall" or somthing. that also counts for Get pos set pos. You just spawn a unit and place him high. Gravity wil take over but logic doesnt.

Note if you are the SQL and everyone has a shute and your flying in the air if you hit ~ to select all and then hit 6 some functions will pop up aswell for EJECT simply commanding everyone to eject.

Getpos this bla bla is kinda outdated. People use this to get people on the carrier in utes :P. Annyhow if you look leftbottom next to azimute it says somthing like hight. By default its set to 0 you can change this to what ever you want. Note that if you spawn new units they will spawn with the last configured height. I found this out the hard wayt whn half the base spawning floating 100M in the air and vehicles and AI fell down exploding and dying on impact.

Lol could you ad a mission to this post? Mine ai wont even open they're parashutes. Not the less i have to switch between them to grab the shutes since THis addweapon "bis_parashute"; doesnt work. So yhea a mission would be apreciated so i can also test it out. BTW just an extra if you place some AI at hight 100 they wont go into free fall mode they just stay in they're normal combat stance till they hit the ground(as shown in the picutre). Does this have annything to do with the current beta built 0.71?

Its because the shutes are archived as vehicles. They should be put as launcher not vehicle if in A2 you would rescript shutes as vehicle(did it bc of the cargo shutes needed to be clustered for ealism) Your engine doesnt understand what the hell to do. I mean you collide with it but its attached to you -> YOu suddently stop witch means increase of of colllisions-> Damage taken makes shute explode-> A3 engine weird enough to render smoke enc on the ground instad of air->"shute wreck" glitches out due to random game engine input-> game cant handle it so crashes.

No just tested it again upon 100M going therminal velocity and i tried it with IA. Fuckers didnt even deploy they're shutes half of the time but when they did nothing bad happend. Checked my fps and debug nothing unexpected or missing files enc enc enc that coudl a crash.

We have to go deeper.

Well thats weird... I'd sugest downloading the BJ(basejump) Map form Aholic testing out all factions enc with parashutes. Note i haven't crashed so far...

Hmmm i didn't even knew there where shutes in the beta haven't seen them in anny vehicle. Is there some init coding to be done or a module i am missing? Or is it somthing only for pilots. Plz tell me so i can try out and see if this really his a game bug or a client side bug.

@captainwacky91. This was a concept. Never used in real combat simply because its to dangerous and hard to preform. Pilots must undergow training they only can get in the field. Sudden shift of weight couses different controll handling. As for the fatal crash demostrating this concept they stoped developing it.

Exactly. Maybey only add Opfor and Blufor flags and maybey some vehicle tags to preffent people from feeling left out due to the fact theyre flag isnt in. As for importation you can import what ever you want. Even extreemly awsome custom flags of either your nation or clan.

Well the email name enc. Is configured in Squad.XML but its a pain in the ass. No one wants to spend time figuring that out. Setting it up from the game itself would be better.

This would be interesting. If they would allow you to import your own flag. ALlowing clans to use they're own symbols instad of 10 different flags with 100 people feeling left alone bc they're flag is not included.

What do you mean with help. I mean i know how to make mods but we need the vehicles or atleast the dimentions of the entiriors before we can even start doing. I mean i probably speak for most of us if i say I WANT TO HELP BIS! but how... its not like they're gona explain to 10000 people what they want. thats why the game is mod friendly. For modmakers to make they're own things based of what community wants.

Good to hear oukej. And Byku controlls has nothing to with physx. Just saying arma 2 gravity was similar to the moons gravity.. Physx just ads to the behaviour of lods when getting a XX force aplied to them.

^fly helo's upside down? TO THE TEST LAB! no but i never was abble to do that simply the thing drops like a brick. Some features are realistic dolike barrle rolls but you need some skills since you get desorientated really easly. Thanks for.

As tip try combined the maneuverbility of some arma 2 helicopters with A3. Things as the littlebird are made to be agile as hell not like the A3 one where when you go in a 90 angle you are doomed.

@Vulcanexius. This game takes place in 2035 most helicopters in this game are based of reals just like this little fella. They actually planned to make one of these in reallife but its just useless since it would become bigger and more expensive. Rather fly a blackhawk or somthing else then such open bulletmagnet.

Also i had arma 3 issues to then Direct X then Nvidia all i did was reinstall DX11 and nvidia physx pack. (PS if you run on nvidia card check the updates there have been 2 new ones short time ago).

Lift master: controlls the Lift system and or loading: IN chinook he controlls the door and rope(and maybey crane).

Well this is arma. Arma misison script files are quite easy to manipulate to do what ever you want. But i gues if they implemented this in such way it would be downloaded from legit sites no hard problems would occure.

Either the mods are downloaded from oficial sites and not from the server itself. I dont trust that. Its easy to put a virus in a mod if mods are downloaded from servers itself its easlly gona cause mass spread of viruses hackers hack tools Key los enc...

Well ArmA3 is one of the view games that Has Physx in it and at the same time allows you to do what ever you want. So you can expect people to poost things that we know is not usefull due to different lack of features. But id like to see this because it would be interesting and since this sim is based on the future we could use this and see how this would work out. I mean there are gona be more beta updates so as easly they put this in they can take this out.

Alright +1 and good luck to bis if the are gona implement this. You must understand that the collisions between vehicle and caracter are seen as static. Its kinda hard to explain but pretty mcuh what happends once you move is in A2 the collisions glitch out and proppel you forward(Note this also accounds for BF3 try jumping on a tank when its moving). In arma 3 this would actually be funny just image with the ragdoll physics people getting launched out of the backs of trucks enc. Now for an example of such walking system here is a link to a paradrop script by DAP http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=15405 it allows you to run in hte back of 3 types of planes mainly interresting for the C130H. This script proves to be awsome but also really glitchy at the same time. (Jerking animations and movement no collisions on caracters enc). Im currently working on a stryker model for both A2 and 3 with workable animations and walkable interior while on the move. This proves to be amazingly hard to do in such tight spaces. But there is always a way to do somthing as proven into the script above.

Just put this in BIS. like seriously there is allot wrong whit this game like glitches and bugs.... you guys had 6 months to fix allot now you guys have annother 4 or 6 months to fix what is still broken and putt in stuff you want and theeeennnn you can put in stuff we want... Good luck

"I agree with the OP. JSRS did really improve my pleasure of playing. The A10s were horrible with vanilla, but with JSRS they sound like seen/heard in RL-videos.
Guns feel more powerful/real/frightning with the mod and the soundsource-aquisition is better by far(for those who play in vet-mode, this is despitely needed)."

ACE and JSRS are gona be for A3 so lets not worry about bad sounds. (even do somthings might need a bit of tweaking)

Yhea frag that fire thingy already is in when the fire rizes due to an explosion. Only the problem with arma they wanted to make smoke dynamic so they made smoke particles GIANT ROUND smoke things that can be moveed around by air. Using smaller and more particles would allow bf3 features ofcourse but yhea. we will see.

Yes it was defenetly somthing i missed trough out the arma series. Realistic fire explosions and smoke. Mods did make it better but yhea not as good as it could have been. For instance A plane filled with fuel hitting the ground at 300+ KMH will create A HUGE fireball breaking into dozen of flaming parts that all have fire paths on them. Less explosions more fire.

Okey. Well i think its best if we keep this going and keep getting some idea's i mean knock down and blurry vission is cool and all but somthing like whiplash or getting knocked back would also be interesting. Im gona upvote this annyway because i want to see what comes out of it. Its never a bad thing and since its beta the can always fix it in the next build or tweak it.

As for physx i think its actually an interesting feature if getting shot in the head knocks you back and unless like now you follow the movements from 1st person view because rigth now if you get knocked out the camera gets locked(i really hate that). Or as for your arms and hands features like your weapon geting shot out of your hands or your arms flying back because you got shot in the arm(gona try use endorphin to make some showcase animations). We need to give the devs some materials that would work out for the people that want this and also make it so that its not to much work.

For shotguns forgot to mention it somthing like a knock back. You get trown of your feet(Look at ace when you are about to pass out you fall over really really nice feature) And from slugs you get the air knocked out of your lungs you get fractures inside of you and you fall over.) things like that

Well yes boddy armor these days has come allong way if you look back. But they are only tested in controlled envoirments and all that has been tested are the >body< armors. Your legs and arms are still fully exposed and a couple of shot to the leg would leave you bleeding like crazy mostlikley resulting into death from loss of blood. Not only to mention plenty of soldiers got KIA because of the trauma they had to the had from the helmet denting in leaving them with bad neck injuries and in worst cases a fractured skull. Now these things would be insteresting implementing but are just to much. I dont think annyone wants to play just to be send into a coma and not abble to play during the entire mach. Even do its a sim you cant expect it to be to overly realistic simply because most people dont like the slow pase nor the fast pase so they want somthing in between. Now knockdown aiming issues or the drunk walk are things id like to see. But body armor that preffends you from killing i dont think its gona work out because you'd have to think about otherways to injure the player whitout him being combat in effective (shot in the leg or arm would leave you crpled.

And regarding the Dayz wasteland thingy just take a look at the list of complains and feature requests.. You'll be surprised how manny people want things like crossbows, tactical knifes, takedown systems and all sorta things you would really see in a military simulator. Its just a bit frustrating seeing so manny good posts getting only 11 votes up and posts like crosbows and other things that are compleetly stupid get almost all the votes up.

I gues like you mentioned before they could add this as a module. See no harm in that but drastic features as these should made to be turned off if the editor wants it since using the ace woonding system and the A2 wounding systeem always caused so much issue's

Well ofcourse 1 shot 1 kill isnt realistic but 5 shots for 1 kill from a close distance as 500M isnt really realistic either. Implementing features as boddy armor like that would mean they have to think about weak parts like the legs arms the face enc. Also it would mean that they have to implement a blood loss system a system that makes you cripled(A2) and one that makesyou crawl on the ground screaming for help(first aid battle sim module A2). This means a whole lot a coding that is simply a waste of time since the current system is fair enough knowing the ACE devs are making a new woonding system. they could use the time making this into making something else that has never been done before: APEX cloth sims APEX destruction APEX fluid sims. I dont disagree with this post it would be better having a more realistic boddy armor and woonding system but its a waste of time knowing a mod dev team is already working on that.

Well Goose i understand what you are saying. But most people on this Feedback tracker hae either played this game for to short or are dayz/wasteland fan boys... They come here and complain about certain features they want to be changed so its easyer to play for them not thinking about people that like the 1 shot = kill systeem ArmA always had. I hope devs implement this but make it in such way that Vetran or Hard mode means 1 shothit = 1 kill.

realism? you people are talking about 4 to 5 hits before dying from a distance closer then 500M..... a shot to the chest would break your ribs not to mention the legs arms enc. Thats the problem i dont mind this feature being added but i hope the devs think about the fact your legs head arms shoulders face and neck are still exposed.. and i hope people dont request Call of duty juggernought shizl. Dont get me wrong i like this post but usually when peopel start with this it ends up in everything being nerved (Battlefield 3)

Look up 200+ people liked this because they are butthurt for getting killed all the time. Now they get the change to turn this into battlefield they take it and the Devs listen to them. You go take a hike and don't ruin this game.

Fireball plz for the love of god close this like close it. This game is a simulator and people complaining about how easy you die just need to piss off. They are ruining this game and turning it into an arcade shooter. I mean 4 to 5 hits? 1 shot from an assaultriffle to your chest and you can say by by to your ribs annother one? internal bleedings 3d possible lose of contiousness 4th death.

What the hell is this bullshit? 4-5 shots to penetrate armor?! You do know armor is only to protect vital organs. I hope bis thinks about this your arm legs shoulders neck face are exposed.... Marines get shot all the time from shots to the neck, Shoulder, chest(Boddy armor doesnt really work against ak rounds), legs enc.

IDK bout this. I hate it to have other people help on my missions. SImply because you have to coördinate the rest. ALl ways takes to much time time i'd rather be spending on producing a product. Download windows 7. Vista dont even try to fix it with vista. Vista tends to not find things or delete thim. I'd sugest (admins mods defs you can skeep this part) DOwnloading and installing a cracked vers of WIn7 i could get you links if you want to. They will auto update never tell you your software aint legit so yes.

^ actually downloading individual DLL files is somthimes a better idea. If it cause errors you know what to fix. If you reinstall drivers enc and it messes up your system you have to use system recovery specially with vista.
