Ok @Geez thanks for clearing that up. My experience leads me to think that the functionality of suppressed sound is inconsistent. If you miss and the bullet strikes a wall near the infected, they will investigate the general vicinity of the point of impact, as you say. If you hit the infected it will sometimes immediately come charging right at you, including other infected in the vicinity who were nowhere near the target. Sometimes this does not happen and the target infected runs around stupidly. Maybe this has to do with how well I manage to stay hidden, but it might need a bit of tweaking still.

I can help you Bohemia with serach cheat programs. I love that game but that problam FATAL for DayZ and I so BIG fan that game, but after that not wanned play again. I know, I pay money for game, play 1000 hours+ and you can do nothing and not lose money from me, but PPL will stop play if you will not ban that cheaters

@fundogthrillionaire Perhaps the problem is random in nature and is close to a common problem - server lag. For example, the gas ran out, but the server at this point in time had a delay - it does not register an empty gas cylinder - the sound of the gas burner continues to play.
I sometimes encountered such problems when the sound continued to play on the server, even in those places where the sound source was no longer present. That is, the problem is random and not in gas, but in the mechanism for starting playback of any sound on the server and stopping the playback of any sound on the server.
I heard - the operation of the gas burner but the burner in place of the sound source is not there, I heard the sound of a fire that has been extinguished for a long time .... or such a moment in the game, as in this video. Geez. I had the same experience as the OP. Fired at a zombie from a reasonable distance(across a standard house yard, it had not seen me). I was not expecting a kill, just testing how much attention it attracted. I was crouched half behind a bush. The zombie IMMEDIATELY aggroed on me, as well as 3-4 more from the general vicinity. That, coupled with the fact that one shot will not kill them, makes the MKII COMPLETELY useless, and it may as well be removed from the game. I had the same issue with other suppressed weapons. A suppressed FX45 attracted zombies from all over the area. At me, not "the area of the bullet impact", which seems a ridiculous concept. I can throw an item next to a zombie and it turns, but doesn't aggro

I second Helkhiana's request and think it would be a great change for the modding community for there are many mods right now adding slots to all sorts of things and running into issues. I think her solution is likely the most realisticaly achievable and am fine with that, but wanted to add that it would be even better if it were possible to register these slots scriptside much like we do actions/recipes. It's talked about in the wiki updated 3 days ago so its used for something "mapgroupdirt.xml Positions of all map groups (buildings), which are not tied to a specific map object." https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/DayZ:Central_Economy_setup_for_custom_terrains ...You guys make people buy the game and DLC without all the files, yet cars still crash servers when they fly, open can still logs in the crash log, the inventory bug still not fixed, HandGuardHasRoomForItem still not fixed, FishNetTrap puts out an error, CleanWeapon has an error, CraftArmbandRaincoat error, and many more... Least you can do is send me the file I was supposed to have ages ago.

GEEZ 2018 its logged here too!!! This proves you all knew about this missing file. You make us pay for a game full of errors then release paid DLC still with the same errors. Why can you all not upload the file somewhere so US SERVER OWNERS & MODDERS THAT SAVED THIS GAME will have 1 less error?

My tip as player: you can play on the community servers which are much more managed, unlike officials. Seeing a cheater on community server is rarer. If you encounter cheater on community server, just report it to server owner with some evidence and he will be banned.

Some certain experimental work for those who are trying to follow session. Given session with some difficulties which you have to freeze for a long time. Trying to make an essayonytime reviews perfect, Experimental work is important for session because we have to understand all these difficulties which we face here.

The file is not being used for anything at this moment ,therefore it has no effect on anything. You can ignore the error as it will not manifest in any way.
