Missions file is missing
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

I was doing some work in COM (Community Offline Mode mod) and got my files confused as to which went in my missions folder so I deleted DayZ and reinstalled.

After reinstalling, there is no 'missions' folder in this pathway:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DayZ

I asked one of our community players and they said they have a 'missions' folder with a folder named 'dayzOffline.ChernarusPlus' inside of it and inside of that is a 'db' folder with nothing in it.

I've verified files 4x and reinstalled 2x. I'm a little worried to play because I don't want to catch a VAC for modifying any files. I didn't modify anything, I simply uninstalled and reinstalled.

We only play Livonia so I disabled all mods and joined a public server hoping that maybe if I play Chernarus maybe the folder would populate or something. No results.

  1. Do I need it?
  2. Should I ignore it?
  3. Why is it not there after reinstalling 2x and verifying files 4x?
  4. Should I add a missions/dayzOffline.ChernarusPlus/db to my DayZ folder?

Can someone assist me please?

Hello Weyland.
If we understand correctly, this is on a client, not the server? If on the client, then you do not require to have the mission and it is not used by anything.
Regards,
Geez
