As the title states a friend and I got all the materials together for wooden crates and places them in a house we planned to make our base. After placing two wooden crates on the second floor of the building with valuable loot/gear in them 20 or so minutes passed. After this time the server restarted. After we got back into the server the crates were gone along with our unfinished walls with materials in the inventory of the structure (which I am aware of not being persistent, or so I heard from a YouTube video.)

Steps To Reproduce
My best guess would be to place wooden boxes on the second floor of a building with items inside of them on an official server and see if they are still there after restart.
Additional Information
Also if this gives anymore insight into what happened all of the loot or dropped items on the ground ie logs or loose clothing spawns were all gone and replaced with new spawns or nothing.
