Had another one happen shortly after that I forgot to upload earlier.
Anyone??

That only works for displays initialized using BIS_fnc_initDisplay. This request isn't crucial, but would provide a decent QOL improvement.
The display config name is stored on display itself, you can retrieve that an look up config for it https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/ctrlClassName

Thank you for the report. We were able to fix this issue it will be in the next proper update. For now you can test it in our Development branch.

I have the same problem with the Contact DLC enabled although some fixed wing aircraft display the vehicle info box in the top left, ground vehicles don't and neither do all the helicopters I've tried. Problem goes away if I disable the Contact DLC.

I just fixed the problem, it's indeed a BattleEye bug ! It seems they have a problem with the Windows Driver Verifier and for some reason it was enabled on my system.
Thank you for the report. We will have a look at it.
Edit: Most likely it is a BattleEye bug. Please, contact BattleEye here and inform them of the situation.
Interesting. We will have a look at it. Were there any logs created when the game bluescreened your compture? If yes please upload them here.

Yup, it seems to be coming from "arma3battleye.exe" when I launched that, my PC bluescreened after a few seconds. So it seems to be a problem from BattleEye ? Starting the BattleEye service (BEService) in the task manager manually doesn't crash my PC though.
Just tried that. Closed Steam, restarted it with right click -> start as admin, then launched Arma 3 from the launcher, it blue screened again.
Thank you for the report. Hmm, could you please try launching steam as admin. Se if that does not help?
Thank you for the report. According to your rpt. files it seems you are out of hard disk space thus why it is crashing.

yes I'm playing with mods enabled, but I haven't tested yet if the error occurs with disabled mods. I experienced all three crashes while flying the Blackfoot. Maybe this weekend I have the time to test that with another helicopter.
Second Crash.

First Crash.
After more than 6 months I haven't got the Crash, with the help of the Developers.
If possible I will share the solutions for the RPT files that I sent them, with the RPT's.

Dev has been updated. Please check it out, the fix should be there.
Hi Wulf,
Jan 8 2020
I encountered the same error while clicking on a bed ingame, near Losi, after stealing diver gears from gendarmes for a mission. The game crashed instantly when I clicked on the bed (or maybe the watch screen appeared and I clicked the "confirmed" button, I do not remember). Now, I am getting the exact same message.
Thank you for the report. There are multiple reasons for this error, for example 3rd party programs interfering with the game and failing, crashing the game in the process. or something very similar to when the game throws ERROR_MOD_NOT_FOUND. I will list the possible solutions here please try those that you didn't already and let us know, if anything changed.
Thank you for the report. Have you already tried the possible solutions?
Thank you for the report.
Infistar is a user made anti cheat, contact the creator, this feedback tracker is for reporting issues with Arma 3
Thank you for the report. I see that you have some mods enabled does the crash occur even without the mods? Also was it a specific helicopter?
Jan 7 2020
Thanks guys!
Thank you for the dumps. We will see what can be done. However we can't see what is going on with the game in your rpt file because of the -noLogs parameter. Could you remove it trigger the crash again and upload the rpt and dumps again?
Ok so apparently somebody already fixed it, please check it with the next stable branch update.
@falagor thx for answer :)
We currently do now have the resources to deal with this, we are aware of it but are putting it to backlog. Sorry.

Thank you for the report. Is the crash random or does it happen when you do soemthing specific?
Contains a fix for me for the moment, will continue testing

No problem!
We will check if we can do something deeper with this, but it has a very low priority.
Can confirm the issue for FOV settings:
fovTop=1.118682;
fovLeft=2.1099019;
The 64- bit version always crashes, even on vanilla. I dont know if the 32-bit version crashes on vanilla
