Example: 2020-01-15 (today's date at time of writing) is a Wednesday but is in the eden editor displayed as a Thursday.

@Wulf closed out my ticket saying it was the same as this ticket - it is NOT.

Not only are the times wrong and ONLY for certain years (2019 showed fine), the moon cycle is whacked big time.

Examples of this can be found at HERE.

@z80cpu I am aware that you have other information as well there, they were added to the ticket, but leaving two tickets that have similarities open would be a headache to deal with, not to mention to close every copy that mentions the same issue. It is nothing personal it is just more efficient.

Regarding the moon phases, we are aware of the problem however us changing that now would break some of the night missions already created for the game not just our own,but by the community as well, so yeah we know it is wrong, but we would rather not break other things because of that.

@Wulf - I agree with 2 tickets with the same info. I did not see (if there or not) if the 'moon issue' was on this ticket. I agree with you 100% on that! :)

One thing that does disturb me and it is NOT of your doings; is Bohemia allowing known issues to be left alone. To ME, this is nothing but 'shoddy workmanship'. As a programmer of 40 years and coded for a living around 5 years of the 40, and an IT tech now for about 35 years now, I never put out anything that was not 100% correct/proper/etc. My work speaks of me and of my values. I take pride in my work at all times. I never make excuses for anything that I work on.

My company, my team, nor I would never exhibit such a stance. Why fix anything then if people can 'live with it'?

As a customer of yours for about 19 years now, this leaves a 'bad taste' in my mouth. I expected better.

There is NO 'excuse or reason' to be delivering a 'broken product'. I see this as nothing but laziness and poor quality control on Bohemia's behalf.

I am NOT taking issue with YOU, rather the COMPANY. Bohemia HAS done good work before, sadly, this is not one of them... :(

And how hard is it to change a date in the game to line up with a desired moon cycle? 10 seconds? It aint that hard nor time consuming. And one does not even have to start ARMA either! A simple 'find and replace' program such as 'TextCrawler' to do this. I use it quite often for said issues.

I am not 'angry' with you or Bohemia, just disappointed in Bohemia for their 'stance' in these two issues.

Thank you for 'combining' my ticket with this one and apologize for creating more work for ya!

:)
