With Contact DLC active, HUD elements are missing when using most vehicles, namely the Vehicle Info (upper left corner) and Weapon Info (upper right corner) windows.
Vehicles in the Artillery and Planes categories, as well as the SDV submersible, do not encounter this issue.
1- Place any vehicle from the Anti-Air, APCs, Boats, Cars, Helicopters or Tanks category in Eden editor.
2- Play mission as the vehicle driver/pilot. Vehicle Info and Weapon Info windows will not appear.
3- Switch seats to gunner or commander. Weapon info window will appear; Vehicle info window will not appear.
4- Exit mission
5- Place any vehicle from the Artillery or Planes category in Eden editor.
6- Play mission from any seat in the vehicle. Both the Vehicle Info and Weapon Info windows will appear.
I have the same problem with the Contact DLC enabled although some fixed wing aircraft display the vehicle info box in the top left, ground vehicles don't and neither do all the helicopters I've tried. Problem goes away if I disable the Contact DLC.

Tested this and everything seems to look ok. Are you by any chance using any mods that are enhancing the HUD?
Hi Wulf, no the problem happens with no mods installed or running and also happened after a completely fresh download and install of arma 3. The only thing that stopped the problem was to run arma 3 without the Contact DLC active.
Can confirm this happens with NO mods and with the only optional DLC loaded is Contact. HUD elements aren't visible for the AH-9 Pawnee and HEMTT, but are visible for the Hunter GMG and A-164 Wipeout. Running without Contact (as in, Vanilla ArmA 3) fixes the issue.
