Okay @rct @plokilopki launch the game via the official DayZ Launcher in steam, and once the game crashes to desktop, you should get a prompt notifying that you have crash dumps files, and with that,
report those to this ticket.

Popular streamer BreaK seems to be complaining about it, and it doesn't paint a good outlook on the game.

It sucks to see these people complaining about bugs like these, regardless of the vastly superior state DayZ is in now :(

So You just made it harder for new players to find there way and there friends and just made the spawns worse. why can't you guys listen to use and just make it for that you cannot log in Mil bases and make it for that you spawn in a random shed in the town you were in.........

This is not a bug but a feature implemented to prevent players from server hopping to gain loot from specific areas or to raid player bases by switching a server. The only way to prevent the character movement is to stay on the same server.

I've seen this happen 3 times on the latest stable patch, 1.04

This is still an issue in 1.04

make sure to provide you crash data and logs from the C: (or your drive with DayZ) > Users > "Your User Here" > AppData > Local > DayZ
and copy that folder and send the crash logs here.

DUG admin chiming in, this would be a solution to our current issues with a huge queue. I need to be able to get in and do admin stuff and I'd like our community members to be able to get priority in queue.

solved. I had a custom spawn location setup based on GUID, that was causing the issue apparently.
