can i Ask you about your crash dumps please?
If you allow = you have no another notes to this ticket. I´ll close it.
Hi, I´m glad to hear it.
Thank you for your suggestion. There is currently not careless way to do it but I would like to wait what another admins will say to this.
Hello, @Alwin. Thank you
Showing this message means that this Arma particle is somewhat broken. The best was to resolve it is verify game cache integrity. Also you can switch to RC branch or Profiling branch and check if the issue still persist.
I wasn´t able to reproduce this Designator behavior in Internal/RC/Stable and Staging branch. Issue have been fixed.
So, i deleted the profile folder and the .vars.Arma3Profile and it started to work. Thank you :D
Still there is a server where it works in strange ways. How this can be implemented on the server? Which option is activated?
this bug was earlier resolved in Staging and Internal branch. It will be fixed in Stable soon.
I´m glad to hear it.
I´ll close this ticket if you allow.
In other case write me here.
It already shoud be fixed?
It was the wrong weight for the fences and bushes
Your issue can be caused by lack of memory space thanks to your maxmem and maxvram parameteres.
if your game is crashing, there should be some crash dumps? Can you try send them to us.
that´s interesting. Try to verify your game cache integrity and restart the PC. Also, you can try re-install your Arma 3. This issue seems to be hidden somewhere in assets.
I´ve checked your RPT and found fault adresed to Kernellbase.dll.
Did you try to re-install your GPU drivers? Clear some space at your HDD or re-located game folder to SSD?
switching to 64bit version could provide more performance to your gameplay. You can try it. Also, did you tried switch to profiling branch?
The issue has occured in case of your registry libraries (kernelbase.dll) or low video memory space.
Oh, you were right. Does Arma 3 works now to you? Or have you any other issue?
Have you any other questions or quotes or can I close this ticket?
@ookexoo
Can you send me fog setting screen in vanilla Weather parameter, please? Not in Advanced Weather Change module. I was capable to repro its behavior but in different weather settings.
I've uploaded dxdiag, 3 procdump full dumps (eden is before the issue, other two were created on game crash automatically by attaching procdump as debugger). There is minidump file inside from appdata and report file. Hopefully it will be of some assistance.
Hi, reproduced. Proceeding to investigation.
You´re welcome. This should be a quite hard work.
Getting this one every 5th pass or so.... most of mine are 0xC0000005 Violation Access.. been going on for days now.. I have played the game at most 5 hours in 4 days, half of this was on other people's servers.. So far the only thing I have found to fix the issue for 2-3 is Uninstall everything.. literally.. steam included. Then using your registry cleaner of choice and killing anything it pulls up without bothering to look at the what if scenario.. Finally.. if you are like me and like to mess with mods and use the tools.. The instant I install the largest tool set for arma3 the error begins, even if it has only been 2 minutes post reinstall..
I really hope what I have helps. Been trying to figure this bug out for a while now. From what I can tell, it has alot to do with loading terrain and or geometry (e.g.Tanoa). Looks to me like it can also be accelerated by jumping around maps alot, like teleporting or flying jets. Fixed wing showcase is a good contender.
I have talked to many people about this bug and have encountered it many times myself. I narrowed it down to something more specific than what was mentioned in this bug report. I play on a Wastelands Altis server and I connect without mods. What I noticed is this bug happens after an hour (like you know) but with the addition that when you are in a vehicle and someone else is driving and you are looking at your map while he drives several kilometers. You hear your vehicle driving in the distance like if your audio is not traveling with you anymore. You stay looking at your map the whole time until you get to the destination. Then you close the map and you do something, look down your scope, or binoculars or switch to 3rd person. I haven't figured that out yet. But when others experience the FPS bug I always ask "Where you looking at your map the whole time we were traveling?" and I generally hear back - "Yes".

i confirm this issue. its most annoying and i dont use fog anymore.
As in a game on the server the problem influences game process:
- From ten possible 100% of the attacks on the purpose, successful two captures.
- From two successful captures of the purpose, from two rockets - 1 rocket has hit the mark.
It leads to an imbalance in a game, loss of advantage which could will take place.
Solve this problem, it really irritates. The air attacks of the opponent, spoil a game, due to the lack of a way of fight against air targets.

The forum subject long waits for the answer - What setting of the server creates a problem?

The last times, when I played, I only had the issue, that my game crashes with a blackscreen or it closes the game window (process is still running in Task Manager) and sometimes I still have these annoying FPS bugs.

wasteland server...no mods
I've noticed a few things over the last few months, so maybe this could help resolve the issue:
I guess i found the solution.
For me the command works correctly, you just need to specify max audible distance in config, otherwise default distance is too big.
Has there been any development in this area ? Definable conditions ? Still trying to create a HUD/ MFD that can be turned on or off with Useraction

OK went through all steps above and the only fix was to move completely over to X64 in the RC branch. Unfortunately this still crashes but only after 30-60 minutes of game time. However now my mission file got corrupted when I moved over to the RC version. Still looking for reasons why that happened but working on it makes me feel better right now. :D
Has anyone from BI looked into this further? The inability to export a crate to a notepad file in the same way that you can export a character loadout is extremely disappointing. I do not know if this is a difficult aspect of the game but it would be something that would make mission creation and loadouts for crate significantly better overall. As would the aspect of being able to assign a numerical value to the items you want to assign to the crate in the editor instead of just clicking the plus or minus sign over and over to get the number of items you want in the crate.
This problem appears when setting up video in a game - the HUD size the average size. I didn't check other size, tried on HUD small.
Still identical problem for Arma3 1.69\Arma3RC 1.68

But I can't get those when the game doesn't crash, correct?
