Hi,

are you playing SP or MP?

Try to change memory allocator from Windows to any other in Launcher parameters. Disable this

-cpuCount=3

Next, try the below possible solutions one-by-one:

Try restarting your computer and then verifying the integrity of the game cache for Arma 3.

  1. Restart your computer and launch Steam
  2. From the Library section, right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu.
  3. Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game cache... button.
  4. Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes.

Try all of the possible solutions listed on the Arma 3 Unusual process exit article on the Bohemia Interactive Community Wiki.

Try switching to and playing on the profiling game branch. After downloading new data verify the integrity of the game cache.

• profiling branch (special performance + profiling build - requires access code: CautionSpecialProfilingAndTestingBranchArma3), alternative download of needed binary possible from Dwarden's dropbox

Next, you could try to use this solution, called delete your game profile.

  1. Go to C:\Users\*username*\Documents\Arma 3
  2. Copy all files
  3. Delete yourprofilename.vars
  4. Return back your profile settings
  5. Launch the game

So, there is some next solutions.

try to decrease your graphic quality (if you're using ultra set high or medium). It´s possible that your have no more space on your GPU.
reinstall your GPU drivers

i have tried all of the above things and nothing works... if i click on the arma launcher it crashes with the "value not within expected range crash". if i try to bypass the launcher and load the game it will instantly crash my entire computer. also just to make sure nothing was wrong with my computer i took it too microcenter and had them run diag on my entire computer. ALL of my drivers are up to date and everything is running perfectly. if you need any system specs or anything i can post them in here.. but i have tried everything you posted and nothing worked. attached to this comment is the crash file that arma puts on my desktop everytime it crashes.

ive also attached my dxdiag so you know what kind of system im running and my system info.

Thank you for report. I recommend you to scan your PC due to harmful programs. Some player has some kinds of trojans which caused crashes and so on. We have to be sure that all solutions was applied.

ok i did multiple scans with eset security and if didnt find anything.

Ok So I did some troubleshooting of my own. I documented everything in a log, and will attached all generated crash reports.

Hi, I´m sorry. I´ll reopen it. I didn´t noticed CANT (it was without apostrophe). Sorry.

Once again, have you tried change your memory allocator and removed -cpuCount=3?

the launcher wont stay open long enough for me to change it that way but i found the files to change the settings. not sure if thats important or not. but all the settings are on the default.

got a new crash file today. hopefully this is helpful.

can we add more people to this group? not saying that your not able to fix this issue. i just feel like a group effort might speed the process up?

i pulled this info from my eventviewer.

@adam047

The issue has occured in case of your registry libraries (kernelbase.dll) or low video memory space.

KernelBase.dll is external DLL which allow multiple software programs to share the same function. For example, the Windows is launched on your PC and you decide to play Arma 3. DLL is non active until you launch Arma 3 which will be written to your memory.

Errors KernelBase.dll may be associated with damage or outdated of device drivers. Drivers can be one day operate without a problem and the next day not. The good news is that you can always upgrade the device driver to solve the problem DLL.

You have to update your GPU drivers. KernelBase.dll is often related with some hit to your PC core because jsou GPU is just one of several parta of your hardware which directly works with core. When some fault occur teh Kernelbase.dll is affected and stop working. Sometimes, the culprit is any virus so it´s good to scan whole computer.
