BUT GOOD NEWS, I may have figured out a trigger for this, it has something to do with Focus/Zoom in feature and LOD loading.
When you use Focus or zoom in, it loads higher res textures than you're already using, which means if someone like me who plays Fidelity, the quality I have by default gets enhanced EVEN MORE, which shouldn't be the case.
High dense foliage/forests also play a part in it, since all of those trees want that high quality LOD but we can't afford it.

Another small experience optimization: when changing the OBJECT, I pressed 2, but it displayed 5, restricted to a minimum value of 5. PIP also has a minimum value of 200, but it can be normally inputted; it only changes to the minimum value of 200 when losing focus. The experience of changing the OBJECT is not good.

To be honest i do have a Mayflower Electronics ARC sound card which i haven't tested it with the game yet but i cba that much since such issues shouldn't exist in 2025

I recently swapped OS to Linux Mint, and bought a new sound card with full Linux support, the Fulla Schiit (yes, for real). Ever since, I haven't noticed any problems. People seem to be able to hear me always.

The display of shapes also broke in the particle editor.

Right, as usual didn't even think of that.. Obviously we'd need a way to use another soundset for subsonic ammo when suppressed.
How about additional config token into the mag class, something like onConflictSoundTypeIndex, which you could use to define soundTypeIndex used in case of magazine and muzzle device conflicting. 🤔

Since originally posting this bug I have upgraded my video card, and operating system, and can no longer replicate it.

Unfortunately, with the latest update, the performance has deteriorated greatly. It is impossible to play even in small cities because the fps drops to 15, and if there are many buildings in the city, then it is impossible to play at all, the fps drops to 1-2 frames. I really hope that this will be fixed, because it has become impossible to play. Previously, the game froze if a car approached your zone, and now the game freezes on every building, on every zombie, on absolutely everything.

But stringtable.bin should work the same, so it should not actually be a problem?

I have found a solution. I have imported a backup from 3 months ago, the whole Arma3 directory. After the start a few mods were updated and since then the game is running again.

Indeed, the following CfgMagazine classes refer to caseless ammo when magazines are defined as cased ammo

Update On that, I Don't have Any Extra Ram Sticks, But I Took it into a shop not to long ago, and they Looked at everything Said it was Fine and Sent it on it's merry Way Back To me.
