Vision glitch when playing on Xbox Cloud Gaming through my PC.
Need More Info, NormalPublic

Description

Playing with controller on the Xbox Cloud gaming app.

Vision will glitch to facing backwards, the roof of the car, or straight down on top of the car.

Note:
This happens despite playing in third person, or first person.
This also happens with every vehicle. The fix is placed down below in the "additional information" tab. Once you're able to freely look while driving it will be fine unless you die, disconnect from the server, or a server reset happens. Then it happens again.

Steps To Reproduce

Open the Xbox app on PC.
Launch DayZ.
Try to step into any car.
Vision will lock in one direction no matter any amount of joystick input.

Additional Information

Can usually fix by logging out of the server, joining another one, and joining back into the server you want to drive in.

Disclaimer:
This can take multiple tries. The most I've personally ever had it take me was 30 time of logging out, into another server, logging out of that one, and logging back in.

Is there any update on this? It's been 2 weeks and still suffering from the same issue.

Hello.
Can you please let us know about the following?:

  1. Do you have M&K connected when this issue happens?
  2. Is the server you are playing on modded?
  3. Do you use any plugins for controller/mouse movement/macros?

Thank you!

  1. No M&K.
  2. Yes, pretty heavily, however it happens on lower modified servers too.
  3. I use a hardwired Xbox Elite series 2 controller. (I've already debunked it being stick drift as it happens with 4 different controllers and using a hardware system that checks for that.)

Thank you for the response, sorry for the delay getting back to you, was busy most of the afternoon yesterday.
