windows 11 / HEYA, I finally managed to fix my mic that was not working for about a year in-game, I use a Logitech G733 headset, I did a clean download of the Ghub and downloaded the new drivers as well, then I removed the webcam cause my headset mic would not work at all and windows would force the web cam mic and I could not change this on the sound settings cause if I did then it did something funny and would go between mics rapidly selecting the headset and the cam mic on a never-ending loop I had to restart the PC at least 4 times before that stopped, so I removed the webcam and then miraculously the game showed in my apps ( I could not find the game app in the sound settings previously to set the mic and speakers to my headset) I have no clue what the hell happened with all this but for me its safe to say the webcam removal and the clean download of the hub fixed it

This is how the game works. Official servers of same type share the same character. Changing the server will switch your location, this is a preventive measure.

I have now tried 2x with the DZSA launcher and it does not mess with my internet or kick the other's out of their games.

Not just PC, but PS as well! Saving characters doesn't SAVE that character to the profile. Everytime you log off, log in it randomizes the main screen. The "in game" avatar is the same, but the next time you die it isn't the avatar you "saved". Then you have to suicide, then exit, then resave. Over and over. After I die, then click "custom", it should be the one I saved, not random. Defeats the purpose of saving.

Same thing happens to me..I played the game normally yesterday,without any problems! Today im trying to join and nothing works..reinstalled,verified files,unsubscribed from all mods,trying to join vanilla official servers,nothing helps!
It stuck on loading screen and it wont go to countdown to join the sevrer.Every single server is like that.
just stucks on loading,and nothing you can do.
and if you press anything just crashes.

No. There is another ticket that raised the same issue. It was mentioned there that this issue will be resolved in 1.27.

Yes I have done that also before, had to go all the way down to 500 and that even kicked the others out of their games.
Also the time it takes to get the servers list is horrible.. ;-D

Happened to me before. It might be because since some updates ago (2 or so) when opening the DayZ Official Launcher, the game starts searching for every server possible (Official and Community) and there are thousands and thousands, so if you have your steam parameter in the "In game" section "Server pings per minute" setting too high, it might break you internet. The solution for me was to lower that setting in Steam to 1500.

Sakhal is such a beautiful map, u can tell a lot of work for detail went into it.

So it's definitely not fully fixed for "regular" cases
It did fix it on my deathmatch server that spawn people with gear however so it's already one step in the right direction

@Geez Sorry to say, once again this issue was said to be resolved and once again it's still present as of 1.26.159040. Please reopen the ticket accordingly. @Slivo Happened with a fresh character on official server. The old workaround still works and the issue reoccurs after relogging.

After the update of dayztools, P3Ds with too large faces were encapsulated before being processed. This problem did not occur before the update of dayztools. After the update, it was unable to process faces that were too large and encapsulated them, resulting in models in the encapsulated PBO being able to be opened directly

I can see this is resolved in 1.27. Apologies.

If yes you should add more of those, like cold resistance or else. It does going to give advantage for dedicated players, but not permanently as they will die at some point. This is perfect "level up" system for a game like dayz.
