Description

Game crashes right before loading into the main menu. I have attemped the following solutions with no success:

  • Uninstall Nvidia App and reinstall GeForce Experience
  • Uninstall and reinstall the game
  • Bulldozer parameter fix
  • Deleted all DayZ files from/documents/ and /AppData/
  • Verified game files many times

-Removed all mods

Before I got this error code I used to get "0xC0000005 - STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION". When I uninstalled the Nvidia App and installed GeForce Experience this changed to the current error code.

I have been unable to play the game for months, hoping it would be fixed. The game used to work on this computer as well, but that was probably around 2 years ago.

Hello Jarotheslav.
Have you tried to run sfc/scannow to make sure nothing is corrupted on your OS? Also does the experimental version work?

Thanks for the reply.

I ran sfc/scannow and while it did find and repair some corrupted files, this had no impact on DayZ and I am still getting the same "0xC0000374 - STATUS_HEAP_CPRRUPTION" error. DayZ Experimental seems to be working, I can load into the main menu and even into a server and actually play the game although some errors flash by a bit too fast for me to read them. Would you like me to submit any other files? Thanks.

Thank you, if the experimental works, please try to copy files from your DayZ Exp documents folder over to your DayZ documents folder (Clear the previous files form it first)
