Starting the DayZ Launcher breaks my internet.
New, NormalPublic

Description

So for a very long time now when ever I start the DayZ launcher, then it seems to flood my internet.
That said it kicks the others at home out of their games and even on my pc stream and Obs get's disconnected.

Is this something that is known?

Are there ports that I need to activate or open on my router or do I need to contact my ISP and see if they are dos protecting my internet or something?

Happened to me before. It might be because since some updates ago (2 or so) when opening the DayZ Official Launcher, the game starts searching for every server possible (Official and Community) and there are thousands and thousands, so if you have your steam parameter in the "In game" section "Server pings per minute" setting too high, it might break you internet. The solution for me was to lower that setting in Steam to 1500.

I encourage the devs to add a setting in the Launcher to disable at will if I don't want the Launcher to search servers automatically every time I start DayZ (and so when Launcher opens).

Reference image in my language, although you can visually locate the setting I mean in Steam:

Yes I have done that also before, had to go all the way down to 500 and that even kicked the others out of their games.
Also the time it takes to get the servers list is horrible.. ;-D

I try to avoid selecting the official or community tabs and just select Favorite where I have selected around 10 servers.
That does not seem to help at all.
