Should be fixed in the next update. YOu can test this in the Dev branch.

"policeHorn" is vanilla and it is a siren. the police car and van use it by default (instead of a horn).
I tested this on a dedicated server and everything seems alright. Could you create a test mission and upload it here?
That is a siren not a horn. Are you by any chance using a mod to add police vehicles? Because the Van and Offroad vehicles that can have police beacons do not by default have a function that enables a siren.
So you were meaning the horn. Well in cars and vans it makes sense. Not sure about the boat. What use would the horn have for a boat of that size? We are ware that boat horns exist, but the most commno boat horns are used on larger ships which the police one is not.
Im getting 100% the same error. Intel i7 6700 32gigs of ram, GTX 1080 Founder.
Im getting the same thing. Connect to any MP server and I will crash at load or 1-2 min after load. Doesnt matter if I load without mods or with mods. Started on 5/2/2018 reinstalled Arma 3 redownloaded all mods still crash with nothing I can think of to fix it.

the police cars and vans use an entry in their config like this:
Thank you for the report, but can you please send me a repro of what exactly you did?
Thank you for the report. We will have a look at it.
Update: if you place the mine at the marker and another mine at the location the tank stops, both mines will explode. So the Tank does not detect the one out of the marker.
Thank you for the report. Does this crash always occur?
By siren you mean? Normal police sirens or just car horn sound?
This time there was a new error (no mods).
These errors are raised when the EXE or DLLs, either in the game folder or in the system folders, are corrupted. Possible solutions:

as seen here there is a possible solution to the problem by forceing it to instant (true)
Still experiencing the bug on Windows 8.1
Same issue here. Leaving the destroyed object's view geometry intact would help a lot.
You are unfortunately missing the point.
Changing operating system to get around an issue does not actually fix the issue.
Thank you for the report. I tested this specific T junction and perhaps the vehicle goes in a bit wide when it turns right, but it still manages to get to the assigned waypoint. Both in our stable and Dev build.
It would be awesome if you will fix the bug, because we will soon be celebrating his twentieth anniversary. <sadface>
Thank you for the report, we will have a look at it.
hello?

I also have this problem, and its still not fixed :(
Yes, that's correct. And, there are no options to the right of the configure action box that relate to the controller. The only way to map the actions to the axes is to use the presets. But, all the presets for helicopter controls use Z-Rotate for the pedals. I believe Heli-Kit differs in that it uses Y-Rotate for the pedals. Everything works appropriately except for the pedals. The cyclic and collective inputs are correct when I use the Flight Link helicopter presets.

Just to be sure - all the axes are correctly recognized by the game. But when you double click on some action to open the "Configure Action" dialog and move a particular axis to its full extent and back there's no input registered and action doesn't get bound to the axis?
just edit the names of all mods on the server to <5 letters and it will show them on server browser, but there's still a limit.

@Uro on windows 8.1 I'm not worried anymore

Will the name in the mod.cpp ord the meta.cpp be used ?
@BISWizard ,might help here...
Will there be any response from the Devs ?
I am having the same problem with the same helicopter controls. I've attached screenshots of the Arma 3 setup screen for Heli-Kit and the Microsoft screens. I annotated the axes with what controls they are associated with.

I was able to reproduce freeze in "Situation normal" campaign mission in the very beginning.
