If that is the case, then how the HELL do you explain this? It has been working for months, are you meaning to tell me you guys just never intended for the debug console to be used while giving us the ability to enable that parameter? If so, this game has just taken an even further dive, I'm sure your players just LOVE having functionality stripped from right under their feet.

Have you tried reinstalling the game and/or Verified Integrity via Steam?
Just did a memtest86, test 2 -5 - 8, 4 pass, no error.

I tested the Showcase and I was able to complete the objective "Surprise enemy tanks". Try verifying integrity via Steam or reinstalling the game. Let us know if that fixed the issue for you.
Do you get an error code/message?
Does it still occur if you disconnect your joystick?
Does playing on other multiplayer servers improve the issues?
When your client is crashing, have you been able to compile a report dump?

Ok I was alt-tabbing meanwhile, letting my arma3 running in background. Then I come back to arma (main menu) and chose virtual arsenal and then it crash ! I wasn't even trying to load a mission !
Some update : I manage to make this test mission work in 64 bit when not loading ACRE2 addon.
Just to follow up on this: still having the issue and it's only related to flying jets, with or without mods. I've completely removed arma and reinstalled with a fresh profile and everything, still had the issue. I reinstalled the c++ redistributables with their latest versions and that seemed to fix it temporarily but it just happened again last night.

Note this crash in 64 bit. In 32 bit this do not crash.

Ok another test that crash the game, at least 2 time in a row (i can test several time again if needed) :
CP/escape/zues/support official coop servers is where the problem lies and needs to be fixed, but not being entirely clear doesn't make the point irrelevant because they're still the official servers, ones where you CAN log in as an admin, which really should have made it entirely obvious as to what I was talking to if you knew that you shouldn't be able to log into "any official multiplayer server". then i wonder, what ones could he be talking about that he logs into??

I am sorry, there's no further development planned on the feature :/ Even though the suggestion is nice. "Hold key" actions have been somewhat problematic in Arma due to the tech. limitations.
Crystal disk is clean for both my SSD, and tried both of my 4GB ram alone, and crash every time too.
Weird enough, restarting my pc did the trick and fixed it, weird issue, also can't reproduce it anymore after the restart.

I think, what Shields means, is that you should seperate zeoring from "lead-zeoring".

Umm dunno how to break it to you. But "Join any official multiplayer server that is empty and log in as the admin" this should not be possible at all. So it works as it should.

Most notably, from a 3rd person perspective if your cursor is on the flat portion of the stand the addAction applied to the stand will not display. However, if you place your cursor between the legs of the stand, the addAction will display.

Umm this is a really old issue and I highly doubt that it is the exact same as the one you reported two year ago since the game has pretty much dramatically changed since then. Could you please create a separate ticket? So that it won't get confusing.

"Lase range" is the action used for ranging (simple rangefinder) and setting the FCS (zeroing or zeroing and lead). The extent of the functionality depends on the actual weapon.
It was mainly done out of consistency with other RPGs.

Thank you for the report. I tested this with our Stable and Internal build and I cannot reproduce this issue. Both old and new vehicles have sounds of engine in third-person view.
Actions added to some objects, such as the info stand are now very difficult to activate as you need to adjust your cursor on a certain position for it to show up on your screen. This is mainly noticeable while in third person. If you are in first person, it is a lot easier and the issue isn't as prominent.

Due to freezing (performance reasons) of the PhysX suspension the recoil may not be well noticeable when stationary and firing forward.
You can dump the lead by manually adjusting the zeroing one notch up or down (whichever is closer) after the range has been lased.
