Arma 3 Activity
Nov 14 2017
Well yesterday i played the same mission (4 Players, a lot of AI) for 5 hours without any crash/freeze...
Thank you for the report. Tested it and this is very unlikely to happen in any circumstance. Since most of the time they both get destroyed.

Thank you for the report. I tested this Showcase in our Stable build and it works.
It said "drag and drop files to upload"
I could not do that this weekend, but it looks like I can do this now.
But this week I am out on travel. I can upload on saturday. Sorry for that.
When I use "@some_text" in text field on marker, if "some_text" is define in my stringtable. It will localize my string.
But if I open zeus view (with 'y' default key), my string is not localize.
I would really like to see this implemented, would be extremely useful.
I've been waiting for 2 years!
BIS How many years to wait. before this shit will be fixed? I would like to know
I come from a clean windows 10 installation, so also my Arma 3 is a fresh installation!
I am not sure if I understand what you want. You want the markers to automatically localize to the language of the game?
Thank you for the report we will have a look at it.
have you already tried to verify the integrity of your game cache with Steam?
Thank you for the report, but what do you mean you can't upload your crash reports?
Thank you for the report. Arma 3 does not react well to overclocking software, we advise you to play the game without it as it causes more problems than benefits.
Yes, it should be. With the release of Tac-Ops there will be an update of the game itself which should include the fix for this as well.
Nov 12 2017
MSI Afterburner was the cause of the error when starting the game.

can't upload my crash reports
Is the release of the upcoming DLC on Nov 30 considered a "proper update"? Will this be fixed then?
Thanks Wulf!
The thing i have notised is that at the end of every crash report is the same report; No speaker given for

This error is very generic. It may be caused by many issues, such as a hardware malfunction, a virus in the computer, but also an error in the game itself. Possible solutions:
Thank you for the report. Please send us your Arma report.
Thanks for the reply.
Please don't take this wrong. I spent several days before bothering to post the issue. During that time I searched through forums youtube videos and any place I could find information on them. I found 2 sets of youtube videos showing how to use them. Beyond that the vast majority of reading said one thing don't bother with them write your own spawners. The primary consensus is don't use them because you can't achieve what you need to with them.

arma 32 bit
Actually that is correct. Skill final has been added for debug reasons.
What happens is that the raw skill gets adjusted by the difficulty (for AI level 1.0 that is in 0.5-1.0 range) and only then gets interpolated according to the cfgAiSkill range. And then you get the skillFinal which is then used in AI calculations.
it seems to be related to my computer, but i have reset it multiple times, and it still doesnt work. when i try arma on another computer it works fine.
Okay thank you for the response, i'll give it a try without overclocking.
The spawner module reads all needed data from config when it is initialized. If you later change the input variables, you will break it as the modified data will not be compatible with the data retrieved from configs.
Thank you for the report. It is a known issue that Arma 3 does not react well to overclocking software especially of the GPU. It causes more problems than gives benefits as it will not affect the games performance in a noticeable way.
Yes, I have tested this so far on Public Zeus servers where you able to elect an admin.

I started seeing this issue after I started using a 7.1 headset, never happened with stereo. I thought it might be caused by some soundmods I had installed, namely JSRS and Enhanced Soundscape, but they have no effect. I also noticed severe audio artifacts and frame drops in towns, not quite as unplayable but definitely noticeable, probably something to do with the buildings and reverb. First person in a vehicle, especially going at a higher speed, consistently brings this problem. Switch to third person and instantly fixed. Does not occur in 32-bit.
System:
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
FX-8320 CPU
16GB 1866 Memory
HD 7970 GPU
Patriot Viper V370 7.1 Headset
Thank you for the report could you please tell us on which server with what game mode is this happening?

Hi. The initial comment / bug report is not valid. You are supplying wrong input to setHit command.
Apparently the person who programmed this spawner didn't intend for variables to be changed after being placed in the map.
Changing ManpowerCap to 0 gets you the same error.
Hello guys thanks for the reply I managed to reformat my pc a 2nd time and it finally worked o was in game for about an hour yesterday thanks for the help hopefully it stays working I really don’t know what it was though .
As dedmen said, please send us your Arma report and we will have a look at your dumps.
We need your report otherwise no one can know anything about what's causing the crash.
See here how to get one: https://feedback.bistudio.com/w/ft_a3_howto/gamecrash/

Liberation is not the most stable mission i know in terms of memmory leaks on Client and server side
No i don't use any mods. Here are my rpt files:
no i am not
Are you using any mods? If yes disable them.
Hmm are you using any software to overclock your graphics card?
if this information is important, when i go into task manager preformance, my gpu 3d setting maxes out whenever the game crashes, but its 1070 and im playing on medium settings so i should be fine
The joystick works fine in any other game. It must work in arma too, why won't it?
It is your Joysticks software crashing. I guess you have to get in contact with the manufacturer and get it fixed. Maybe there is a newer version already available that doesn't crash.
I unplugged my joystick, and now the game works.
But is there a way i can play the game with the joystick? or does it have to stay unplugged?
Thanks anyway!
Thank you for the report, we will have a look at it.
Still not working. Even without any parameters. it works on 32bit tho... but i want to play it in 64bit

Thank you for the report. Please try some of these possible solutions.
- Update the graphics card drivers to a newer version.
- Rollback the graphics card drivers to an older version.
- Check the temperature of your GPUs and CPUs.
- Verify the integrity of the game cache using Steam.
- Re-install DirectX.
- Uninstall the Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable package (both x86 and x64 version), restart your computer and install the package again (do not use the Repair function).
- Run a Windows System File Check tool to repair corrupted system files.
Thank you for the report. We will have a look at it.
So i reinstalled the game and unfortunately the problem is still here...
