The "buzzing error" is about the loudness aswell. If it makes you feel better, I've marked this as a dupe of a ticket that matches your description more closely.

Pops, your RPT is from yesterday, using the previous build. Can you upload a new one?
I did have a couple of ideas, but none of them panned out.
Mainly I've been looking for some common denominator in the DxDiag files, aswell as possible hints in the RPT, but no luck. (Except that pops' rpt was full of error spam, but as he says, his problem may have been mission related anyway.)
Unfortunately, I don't think this issue will be easy to nail down. Perhaps the devs can make more sense of the data, should they stumble upon this ticket.

I cannot repro this in a normal MP game, so this seems to be an Invade & Annex issue.

This is a Steam issue which can only be fixed by Valve. BI has no power over how Steam delivers the game to you.
