Ouch. In real-life, he'd probably sever his spinal cord from his pelvis.

Why is it intended? The Glock and P07 are two completely different weapons.
The "Radar" HUD at the top of the screen should be removed, and PiP radars should be used.
Thus, if an aircraft does not have a PiP radar screen, no radar!
I know the devs are trying to balance the game, but "balance" shouldn't mean that everything is exactly the same. It means you should have trade-offs and the like.
Upvoted. Seems you can do it with sidearms, but not long-guns.
Confirmed on the latest dev build.
For the driver, I can understand. But for the gunner, it would seem odd, since it would be right where the turret would be pointing. Upvoted nonetheless.
Yes, Zamak occupants appear to be invincible right now. A ticket has been opened that regards that issue.
If you shoot the glass enough, it eventually fails, just like real armored glass.
Upvoted. A 3D editor would help mitigate this as well.
AD2001:
Lose is spelled lose. In the editor, it is spelled as "Loose".
Well, what do you know? It works! F11 works!
Shift+tab still doesn't, so that'll probably have to be fixed.
EDIT: Spoke too soon. Restarted game, and F11 no longer brings up the Steam menu.
UPDATE: Restarted Steam, removed mods, disabled command line parameters, disabled FRAPs, verified game cache, still nothing.
Daedalus, I just checked my Steam settings, and "Shift+Tab" is still the key binding. I honestly don't know what's going on.
Lehmann, IIRC, the TROPHY has a limited ammo supply, so after a prolonged battle, it would probably be out of ammo, and would no longer be a factor.
"How would you be able to destroy a stationary tank?"
Sneak up on the tank when it's idle, place some explosive charges, and voila! There are probably other ways as well.
If I recall correctly, tanks are particularly vulnerable to flames, so maybe some napalm or Molotov cocktails? However, that's not in the game (as of yet).
Agreed with ProGamer.
You could place a charge on the tank and detonate it, or you could overwhelm the tank with enough rockets that the TROPHY can't intercept all of them.
Upvoted, would be nice to have.
AD2001, countermeasures in-game only for those that have it in real-life.
Confirmed, fixed!
"why should a minigun have multiple RPM's? [sic]"
Because they do in real-life?
"its [sic] a pointless waste of time to try and code that in"
Yeah, it's so pointless that it was in the previous two games.
"besides, what if miniguns only have one RPM in 2035?"
Why would they? It would be a downgrade. What if we have flying unicorns in 2035? What if a magic peace treaty is signed and there is no war in 2035? Do we cancel the entire game then?
Good idea. Pilot-controllable, by pressing the "optic" key.
Personally, I think it looks just fine. Whenever somebody is hit with a large enough projectile, it will cause serious damage. If anything, there should be some blood effects on the ground, though. That much blood being thrown up into the air and disappearing seems odd.
The magazine capacity is now 9 rounds and uses .45 ACP. The thing is, from what I've read, there are 9-round 1911 mags, but they are very rare to come by.
Well, if that's the case, then the magazine should be 8-rounds and an animation of the player putting the round in the chamber would be nice.
KDN, if you look on the slide of the ACP-C2 in-game, it says ".45 ACP" on it.
Thanks for the info, b101uk. It would be better if they showed an animation showing the riders moving between the bed and cabin.
As it is now, they appear to be teleporting, ala sci-fi. The option to move should also only be allowed when the HEMTT is stationary, not moving.
EDIT: I just checked the HEMTT's roof hatch in-game, it appears to be bolted shut. Or, is it supposed to look that way?
Isn't this realistic? I thought pressure mines only detonate when enough weight is placed on them?
I agree. We need a large cargoplane, turboprop or jet. But, which one exactly?
True. In real-life, these kinds of optics are designed to minimize reflections from light sources.
This would be great! In "ARMA 1", double-tapping the "W" key twice in prone caused your player to get to his feet and start running. Don't know why it was removed from "ARMA 2", please bring it back!
Thanks, b101uk. I didn't know that, my bad. :-)
Apologies, b101uk. A functioning periscope should perhaps be added. For example, the LAV-25 and M2 Bradley from ARMA 2 had similarly-functioning periscopes, allowing those inside to see outside.
Updated ticket per your note.
Thanks, guys! Yeah, it's the one. I don't know the classname, so I just used the displayname.
In any event, I have added a picture of the building in question.
Cheers!
Just checked, still broken.
Holstering should be in the game. Upvoted!
I think he means when you are not zoomed in, it should show which optic you'd zoom into were you to. For optics with a backup sight.
Confirmed here as well. While we're on the subject, rudder pedals (for yawing) and collective levers (for altitude) are also not animated on any aircraft in the game (yet).
Thanks for checking it out, Tarciop! :-)
Still the same problem here even with the latest Beta update (28 June 2013).
TEMPORARY FIX: Creating a new profile seems to make captions work.
Looks like we both have the same issue, CXN. Hopefully it gets fixed!
UPDATE: Restarted Steam, removed mods, disabled command line parameters, disabled FRAPs, verified game cache, still nothing.
Both.
AD2001, in-game editor.
Thanks for the info, Nod! My bad, updated ticket per your note.
Upvoted, very much so.
To test this:
1.) Hop into a helo.
2.) Hover slowly and gently into the ocean.
3.) Note how you die the very second the helo is completely submerged. No time to drown, just instant death.
In ARMA 3, it appears that every aerial crash into water means insta-death for the occupants, no matter what the velocity (you also cannot disembark if the helo is completely submerged).
In real-life, this is simply just not true.
A helo crashing into water is very much survivable. In fact, the U.S. military has machines that train people on what to do if they crash into the ocean in a helo.

Player: 3, Hack a Shaq!
3: Roger!
Okay, thanks b101uk! I've got it to work. Turns out I was using semicolons between parameters, which broke the shortcut. Apologies for my carelessness, please close! :-)
Works with the Steam method. However, in ARMA 3 Alpha, individual desktop shortcuts could be created, each with their own command line parameters. So, I take it, with the beta, only one command line parameter can be used at a time?
Good idea! Passengers or aircrew should be able to activate it as well.
Good idea, they should be able to sit on the side with their feet dangling off.
Solution would be to have the glass shards still disappear, but have new ones appear on the ground where they would've fallen. Walking on these shards can cause a crunching noise, altering others to movement.
See the first "Splinter Cell" game, where stepping on glass shards made noise and alerted enemies.
I was thinking something along the lines of building destruction. When a building collapses, it disappears and is replaced by a rubble pile. Similar concept for windows and glass.

I agree, upvoted.
Also, please make it so that the pilot stays still when the gunner is lasing a target.
In "ARMA 2", the pilot would start flying around erratically when the gunner painted a target, as if he were having an epileptic seizure.
