Han man, you don't get the message that we put in that mechanic. When the gun is sticking out of the roof it says "hey, don't mess with me or my car, I have the gun". So no, that feature is permanent. Right now we're thinking about the option to add extreme front brackes, so the car would get 90 degrees position to the ground when you hit the front brakes, and if you have a gun on your shoulder in that moment you will be able to shoot from it. But this is just a concept atm, so might change. Thank you for your opinion though.

It happens to all optics that has secondary scope (or scope + iron scope on weapon combination). Once you in zoom mode (main scope) on one weapon, 2nd weapon automaticly switches to zoom mode (main scope) aswell (if the scope is present on the 2nd weapon ofc). And once you switch back to iron scope on that 2nd weapon and stitch to 1st weapon it will be in iron scope mode aswell. But maybe you meant something else

Oh, one more, 3rd screen - notice shotgun pellet on the left side in the air - same bug as for M79 reversed round after log in on the server (already created a ticket before). Looks like that bug is spread among a lot of weapons, but is visible only on some due to round position

@Geez OK, but you still need to put 1 and 4 points (usti and konec) little bit higher to match center of the gun barrel (and don't forget to add trigger selection). So "starflash" is being used in Dayz or it's Reforgers selections? And yes, think this is unbinarized M14 model, found it on the internet ofc, me personally would never do such terrible, terrible crime, who want's to go to Bohemias basement jail? Heard few modders went missing month ago or so, you take it easier on them, they were just beginners. At least they will see all unreleased stuff that you keep in that basements:) Anyway, upper M14 is from reforger, and lower seems to be custom maid, so you 50% cheated and I thank you for that, keep doing more this kind of cheating. And a bit of seriousness, don't bother about the model, as far as I now modders who repack raw dayz assets and put them on workshop get fast strikes, so they don't do that as often as before, 'cause if that thing is in the serverpack the single strile will put the whole server down, they have more respect to copyright now.

For 10 years playing Dayz haven't caught a SINGLE transmission, and I'm trying to take radio every time I see it and always turn it on. Maybe if you implemented it in some sort of quest/mission or else, so ppl if they want to find some top/secret or else loot need to care the radio on and listen to a certain frequency or something. Few years ago on community servers you had to have radio on to get notification that airdrop is dropping here or there, if you didn't have radio - no notifications. PPL won't use radio as a communication item, that aspect is dead, everyone is on discord now, but if you implement it in some quest or mission as I said, not for talking to other players, ppl will have to use it if they want to get the loot in the end of that mission. Anyway, you got the point. As current state of things radion is a rudiment, just an item that can provide white noise, nothing more. You can also check professor Legasov mod on workshop as a reference

It's not me complaining too much, it's you guys ready to take evertything they throw you: mime masks as a main update feature or anything else. Don't get me wrong, M14 and new skyboxes are really good additions, but what about the stuff that was promised back in 2015? And how they hinted about rabbit holes and a scary god of deepest underground before 1.23, and what?, do you have your underground system at NWAF? No, but that would be ok if they didn't hint about that. Get it now? If you have some time read about dead matter where guys like you accepted everything, and what did they had on release? Rawest pre-pre alpha, buggy as hell, check steam reviews.

And yea, doors.... so many with displaced open/close sound. You open it on the 2nd floor, the sound is somewhere on the first. But this particular one became more like a feature already

Exactly, 100%. Original dayz addon builder is soo unreliable, so many mistakes come through. At the beginning when I was using it I could spend hours just to find missing coma or something like that, on the other hand Mikero's packer is like a true magic compared to it. I noticed those small misstales too (missing rvmats/wrong paths and so), but since they mostly doing nothing about much much bigger problems, I doubt somebody gonna fix such small flaws on a 10y.o game, but who knows

Spawn points restrictions are need to be fixed, not this. When you fight solo against 3ppl party, kill 2 of them, fighting with 3rd and by that time (less than 5min from the beginning of the fight) 2 of his dead buddies are already managed to get back and loot their dead bodies. Profession spawn presets are good for custom servers, can outplay it very nice if you have some custom global story on your serv and probably some special missions for some of those classes, but vanilla at this aspect in currents state is OK. You spawn with low tier clothes, no food, one bandage, how you gonna survive? - it's your problem, go build your own story.

Same thing with COT and m79+40mm. When spawn 40mm ammo via COT M79 won't load them into the chamber, they will go back into inventory or fall to the ground. On the other hand naturally spawned 40mm grenades works perfectly.

It would also be nice to see some new weapons with better modular system. M4 modular concept was nice back then, but it would be nice to have a weapon where you can also change muzzle / handguard / buttstock / fore grip / bipods ... Think you should bring back bipods, back before engine update it was a very nice feature.

@Nate_LapT well dude, you're just being "2+2=4", everybody knows that article by heart I'm pretty sure, the only thing that left for 1.23 from there is NWAF, 'cause AI was postponed. He ment in general, like where that things that were showed earlier (like air transport), and the time span is huge by this point (10 years), and not even a small clue about that. So he's asking "where is the game going after these updates?". You know. Not like "what 1.23 will bring?"

Take a look at this moment (devs stream, time - 00:50:30 https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1847745324). Shot lands right under the legs when 2 players are almost in the same spot, and the 3rd one is 1-2m behind. One dies insta, 2nd survives (probly 1st took all the debris and 2nd was little behind him), 3rd (Scotty) has emty red cross (health). But in the same time 2nd player supposed to be dead, as he was closer to the center of the explosion (Scotty has empty red cross for a sec), and the shot itself was very good, right under the legs of 2 players in one spot.

He said "The players always have received some damage from the explosives." That can mean they received very minor damage aswell, and most likely it is. After they tested it and said "no" it's a dead end. Your only option is to patch config and increase eiter radius or damage of explosion (or both)

@WeirdXone Nice one man, according to you averything is not that bad, and maybe let's just sit and wait on that magical AI anticheat. Yes, you are right that most of the ppl will report only because they're bad at gunfights, but it doesn't mean you should just forget about other half. And would you be so kind to share your official servers list, 'cause man, if that's true about 4 times, I envy you so much. I've been killed 4 times only for last 1,5 months, on the same server, which is not hipop, not even midpop. Anyway, mu point is if you play dayz for 6 years your shurely know that cheater is one of the core problems of the game, and by writing such defensive comment you're not helping at all. OFC we all can go play private servers with active admins that haven't have such huge cheaters problem since.... but still somebody likes to run official. And yes, I never build bases too, 'cause base = insta raid, and if there's a cheater on the serve - not even a chance. But yea, that is your opinion, I have mine, in the end most likely there will be no reaction from the devs anyway.

Death cam is no, but a report button with maybe some small video (few seconds video, or just minimal required stats to determine was it a cheater or not) visible only for the person that will be solving that case - strong yes. You don't even to have tweak batteye (bottlleye, blindeye, noeye), just add report button and think it through how to cut off main vawe of "it was definitely a cheater, but after checking turned out it's not", and you're good to go. Like maybe for a false report you can't youse the button next "xx" hours or something like that. The guy is right, Dayz keep pushing players peak on and on, and is the one of main (and most profitable) titles of BI, and you're jsut close your eyes on that, if to tell it the simliest way "cheaters are in every game, go cry to buttLeEye". Dayz is amazing game, but the patience (nerves) are not limitless, and honestly, last few years you guys are running on fumes that left of all that nerves. You still have time till the end of the year, so maybe postpone NWA rebuild and start doing something with the main problem of the game atm. (Because somebody wrote "there can be 3 squads at the same time and not even meet", so what? Let there be even 10 or 20 squads, who cares? At the same time NEA is completely NAKED, you should rate the game 18+, 'cause if kids wanna see some nude pics I send all them to NEA.)

2 out of 3 perfectly landed shot does almost nothing (sometimes low/mid health reduce, sometimes nothing). And those are not within 3 to 5 meters shots, like right under the feet, or right inside the small room. And players just get away, like "40mm? I eat those on breakfast". Can it be connected with the recent sound changes maybe (probably not but still). I didn't notice such flaws at the beginning when it was only added. I tested it alot there, in game experience, and it was good. You shot between 2 ppl - 2 gone, or a person on the ladder - gone. Now - it's a lottery, and chances are less than 30% for you. So really, could you check that thing guys? But if you test it, don't go with AI, take at least 2 ppl to reproduce more/less ingame situations.

Hexagonal might be due to lods system. Acog has hexa knobs in middle wheel click menu (description), but round in the 1st person view (which is not good, as should be round in description menu aswell). The model itself is pretty old, but there are lots of outdated (or almost on the edge) models in the game, don't think they gonna change any (it would be nice ofc, but most likely not happening)

Oh man, you don't even know how deep this iceberg goes. Cheaters in this game will be always, so I'd suggest you to find some private server with active admins (they don't have cheaters problem at all, or at least react very fast), or if you'll decide to stay on official - don't get attachet to the loot. On official you gonna be killed by cheaters a lot of times, it's if you're lucky enough that is not gonna happen very often, but at least 2-3 times a month. So consider it as an uber hard mode, where your enemies are not only regular players, but cheaters aswell. When the devs were fixing cars you were able to drive 3-5 km outside of the map and leave car there, it wasn't despawning so you could use it like a base, and if you were 3-5 km from the edge cheaters couldn't see it (too short radar range or something like that). So that was 100% secured base (the only problem after they removed offmap physics cars became to drown behind the map, but the cars from before were still standing there). But ofc some dude wrote a ticket that cars don't despawn behind the map, so devs ofc fixed it with the speed of light, basically killed the only thing that protected you from cheaters. And to fix the main cause (cheaters) - "nah, that is not how we do, let's go easiest possible way". So yea, dayz is amazing game, but cheaters are the cancer of it. If you gonna stick official servers be prepared that hours of your spent time depend on whether or not some smartass with cheats decide to rip your base/stash/you just for fun.

They are not directly responsible for cheates, in fact this is the wrong place for reports, you should leave this on https://www.battleye.com/support/ . And cheaters problem - if you play on the server where there's no active admins, be ready to loose all your loot/got killed by a cheater anytime

Those infrustructure that you described maybe present for other shotguns, but not for benelli (animation - some, yes, sounds, ballistics - wow! srsly?? lest's make every new weapon with same sounds/ballistics, cause we can, right? I't not done like that. LMGS - lacks of reload/jam anim, sounds - arma 2/3/reforger - pick the one you like more, ammo - 5.56/7.62x39 is present, same as for shotguns). And you're taking about semi-auto mod like it's something simple. And no one gonna even bother about a bipods, will be takes as "game formality". Arma 2 / 3 hava a lot of LMG's and have no problems with them. Plus, Reforger have those done already, (where did they got the hummer from?), so all it requires is just to adapt those animations for dayz, no need to go from zero to hero. On the other hand, even that single shot shotgun wasn't even needed, infact now we have 4 shotguns in game, why do we need another one? Because semi-auto mod and rail for optics? We already have saiga with a drum mag, not ruining the balance (wow! how? amazing!), more than enough. Why add 5th one? As one guy said "this is not a shotgun game simulator, it's a survival openworld". And know what, I don't know why are you so pissed? I thouhght you got it from the start that those tickets was just to troll. If I wanted those guns ingame you think I just would copy somebodys request, paste it three times and think to myself "oh yea, baby, now whe gonna have it all". I used to write mile long tickets with suggestion will all those pros and cons, and even those had 0 effect. So I just decided to troll, why waste time and sit write a new mile long comment with no outcome if I can just copy yours. Yes, it made your ticket look like spam, but you don't get a weapon here just by a single suggestion ticket. If you want to get it spend some more time and write better one, and better multiple times, also bring some friends that gonna talk about it aswell. Otherwise this is just a suggestion which one ear in, second ear out. But instead of focusing on that you took it personal and even started to drop some insults. Anyway, I'm enough of this, you have your opinion, if you want to present things that are missing as "existing infrastructure" go for it, good luck, just don't envolve me. And spoiler, they can see all you deleted commets, so good luck with those "on the edge" almost insults, they can't ban you for that, but who knows how long will you be able to skip it. Like about the profile pic, if I had cerebral palsy, and you just wrote "that pic explains a lot...", wow, that would've been bullseye, so be careful with that, this is not the place for insults.

It has same infrastructure as LMG's, zero. It needs new animations, sounds, configs, semiauto shotgun logic, only model is ready (same as lmg), there are shotguns in the game, but they have nothing common with this one, 1st one is single-shot, 2nd - 2barrel, 3rd bump action (shot-reload-shot-reload...), 4th - saiga (semiayto, but mag fed). And Benelli M4 goes load all ammo, then shot-shot-shot... till empty. So I dont know what existing infrastructure are you talking about

I've been making those more than a year mate, and still nothing. Before calling somebody dumb go scroll some tickets first, otherwise might look dumb yourself. spoiler : that wouldn't change anything, copypaste or every time original, result is always the same (unless you Wobo ofc)

It's out of logic. Ingame bolt is somewhere on 5.56x45 lvl (or at least 7.62x39), how chainmail can protect from bolts (which it does irl, not everytime, but still), but struggle with .22LR (which sometimes can't even penetrate human skull)?
