Been dealing with this for years on Fragnet. Just chalked it up to the host not being on top of their gear. Really put a dent into my project for the last 3+ years.

Server 195.82.158.110 11500 we are 6 German Players we get all killed behind walls. I got Video if u want.

@Geez more options to create fishing hooks out of nails, barbed wire, etc. would make this less of a problem. Also maybe digging for worms with your hands.

Our admins also tell us that it is not only when people get kicked. But also just when they log off...the entire server gets a message telling them that info. Constantly, when you have (for example) 95 slots, it gets quite ugly tbh...they defintely need to add an option to remove this

will be good to have those annoying messages configurable or even better moddable in scripts to be able easy hide it

Yes, that's a separate issue.

It very much depends on whether you are standing, walking, running etc. how much food and water your body is burning.

They could've made a new launcher that doesn't go through steam, as a temp fix, no?
Every other website can gather all the info required to join, so making a temp launcher can not be anything else than easy and possible.
Maybe you can't join your friend through steam, but you could just find the server yourself, because searching for a server name on basically google, gets you everything you need within a second.
If you can't code a launcher for the game you made, to be as quick and easy as that, you should be out of a job.
