Please try to reinstall your drivers and make sure there are no corrupted files/installations on your OS.

As Bosmo has mentioned, this is a problem related to Windows 7.
We are very likely not going to resolve this as Steam will stop supporting Windows 7 from January 2024 - making you unable to play DayZ on Windows 7 anyway.

This issue is related to the windows 7 OS. We are very likely not going to fix the problem as Windows 7 will stop being supported by Steam from january 2024 - meaning you will not be able to run DayZ on Windows 7 anyway.

Had 3 crashes yesterday one after the other did as requested clearing log files and verifying steam files ( which were ok)

I can confirm the issue with this server. When the server is full, there is a permanent server performance warning icon (mostly red) and the server is extremely laggy, e.g. other players only show stuttering movement (teleporting around). As already mentioned this happens all the time when the server is full, i never tested the server with low pop. The problem/issue is very easy to reproduce, join the server when it's full and watch some other players move along or just play for a short time. It's really so bad, you just can't overlook it.

filling water in bottles from open sources like rivers or lakes seems to be bugged since 2 uppdates ago even.

I would like to update this.
I've had a good friend of mine test this further, and it turns out that we can reroute the stages to another area folder and still pack, however for prefixing, settings such as: Ambient, Diffuse, Forced Diffuse, Emissive, Specular and Specular Power, does not get changed and stays their original values.
When unpacking the packed prefixed addon, the settings are saved, but the game just doesn't read those values.
I hope this note helps narrow things down.

I purchased windows 7 and I purchased DayZ. I want my money back for DayZ on principle. This is infuriating that a game I purchased can no longer run on a system it was initially created to be run on. I definitively will NOT change my operating system and should be given my money back. People that think this is OK and should be an industry standard in forcing upgrades on operating systems are wrong and total sheep. If you want to run a game on windows 8, 10, 12 13 + only that is fine , but you cannot take away software that someone legally purchased by changing the operating system requirements. As you can tell I have a strong stance on this and can't believe what companies think they can get away with because most of the population will do whatever they say. It is my computer and my software which I paid for so give me a refund or let me play on the operating system it was designed for.

Happening to me now, I just opened a ticket for it. 14 hours of playtime, multiple kill son the character. Fully geared and at a total loss. Haven't been able to connect for my whole day off. SIGH
