Movement when laying on ground is extreme, but in standing is jaggy with loop errors.
Can they make movement more stable in all stances ? The binoculars are designed for observation, it is not a heavy weapon with optics.
Because the zoom of binoculars is small, humans can hold this type of zoom stable without problems, even in a standing stance.

I have seen this bug happen a lot lately on Namalsk. I dont remember this being an issue before 1.22.

Made a correction on the codelines. Changing from SurfaceRoadY to SurfaceY is what fixed the problem.

imagine spend a lot of money and time to build a server then a random crash came and kill your server
@Geez This is still not fixed and is disturbing when player use binoculars.
explanation: If you use same curve in X and Y axes, result will be every time diagonal, you can fix that with offset curve in one of axes or use different curve.
@Geez It would be great to fix this by fps limit if player is in queue.

Any news about this please? Will it be fixed with 1.23 or we need to try and find a different solution for it? The server is crashing a few times per day, it's very frustrating for server owners and also for the players.

Good idea, I support it. I infinitely prefer the 3D map over the full screen 2D overlay. It's immersive. As @WeirdXone I also use alt and zoom in to read/look at the corners of the map and I don't have any problem to read any part of the maps in either Livonia or Chernarus.
@Geez please we need a fix for this issue, it keeps happening after a couple of months and in 1.23. Never happened before in years playing the game. Depending on the time, it takes even more than three minutes to join. Happens also to my friend from completely different location, Canada and Spain.
This has been an issue since 1.22 released a couple of months ago. I reported already in the ticket below. Hopefully it is fixed because it is still happening and to play I have to try multiple times, taking some of them even three or more minutes to finally enter the server.
It would be good if someone could post the server log from that encounter. I'm thinking, if it's on DayOne, shouldn't be that hard to obtain it from their server admins in discord. That's a very, very bad bug.
@Salutesh This has been an issue since 1.21. Was reported to the FT on June 6 ( https://feedback.bistudio.com/T173136 - Geez made that one private). Unfortunately it seemed to get worse with 1.22. Hopefully it's been resolved with 1.23 but there's been no mention of it in the Experimental patch notes.

yeah, that's normal. People aren't aware of how many elevations there are on the map. Even though that part seems "leveled", it's actually slanted by few degrees. Especially that road you're on. It has enough of an angle for you to not lose speed.
ye. I mean you can read pretty much everything if you hold alt and zoom in. Don't remember honestly having problems in reading bottom of the map tbh. But yes as an option, client side, it would be fantastic. I'd never use the overlay one personally. But people can still use overlay one if they like. Unless it's removed by server.

Been like this ever since i've been playing Dayz - thought it was an intended stealthy gameplay mechanic, at least players use it as such and it certainly doesn't require 'fixing'
It happens to all optics that has secondary scope (or scope + iron scope on weapon combination). Once you in zoom mode (main scope) on one weapon, 2nd weapon automaticly switches to zoom mode (main scope) aswell (if the scope is present on the 2nd weapon ofc). And once you switch back to iron scope on that 2nd weapon and stitch to 1st weapon it will be in iron scope mode aswell. But maybe you meant something else

I'm finding the same to be true for lots of items: the construction light and the generator have both given me a lot of grief trying to deploy them. I similarly cannot place barrels very reliably either. It doesn't seem to matter which area of the map.
Yep. I found one in a shed. I tried placing it all around, nowhere would allow for it. I even tried on a flat street surface.

Currently RMB raises hands if compass is in hands, there is no need to raise hands to look at the compass since it shows similar angle.

DMR does stagger, but targeted player needs to be more than 200 meters away from shooter. Less than that will either kill the player or make them unconcious.
