Binoculars loop with only diagonal movement
Closed, DuplicatePublic

Description

Looking through binoculars:

Movement of view is only 2 seconds loop, which is strongly visible disturbing.
And it's looks like one of axes is mirror of other, then it creates weak diagonal motion only.

View movement through binoculars should look smooth and stable.

@Geez This is still not fixed and is disturbing when player use binoculars.
explanation: If you use same curve in X and Y axes, result will be every time diagonal, you can fix that with offset curve in one of axes or use different curve.

@Geez, can you move it to the developers, please ?
Movement when laying on ground is extreme, but in standing is jaggy with loop errors.
Can they make movement more stable in all stances ? The binoculars are designed for observation, it is not a heavy weapon with optics.
Because the zoom of binoculars is small, humans can hold this type of zoom stable without problems, even in a standing stance.

Crouching one looks the best. Most realistic. It's literally how it looks when I look through my large binoculars IRL. Standing one is not too bad either but the loop is not closed as raxto said. Prone one is indeed weird. Binoculars are usually a pretty light item and you shouldn't bounce up and down as if they're 5Kg in weight...
