Does the game crash or does it just kick you out of the server with the following error? Could you provide a screenshot? And does this occur on all servers or just specific ones?

Hello Uncuepa.
Main motivation behind this change was to make sure all firearms are not set to the same range, but there is a variety that promotes the use of smaller calibres (firearms). We wont be reverting these changes for 1.12, but they will be iterated upon in future update (with a primary focus on pistols and shotguns).

It’s already known that running a server without signature verification allows others to load unsigned code - which itself is a security issue, and people are now running servers without signature verification.
It's a security issue, it's hard for them to talk about as it could help bad people
the server is now live again as of a few hours ago (i don't know when specifically).
Very difficult for me to comment on the specifics of your individual server’s load out, and the issue the individual players are experiencing. Especially given huge popularity of the DZSA launcher, which itself has been responsible for not loading DayZ community server load outs correctly after the 1.12 update - issues I’d level at the DZSA launcher itself not handling things 100%.

I've always thought that breaking out of handcuffs takes way too short time. Same goes with lock picks, skinning animals... Most timers are off imo. You shouldn't be able to skin an animal that fast and get that much meat.

Blocks should be effective (no more power attacks from zeds going through blocks) and give you time to strike a hit after a successful block (rewards some skill, instead of mashing M1, and makes blocking worthwhile since it actually works now)
Remove bleeding from zeds (if a player fist can't make players bleed, then neither should zeds. Also, it's annoying).
Normal attacks from anything shouldn't cancel zed attacks (you either attack or block, not both), only power attacks should stagger them.
And melee weapon damage balance was too extreme, axes going from 1 hits to 4 was too much of a jump (killing a single zed takes way too long now).
@Joe_Scrub Great post hopefully they fix this very soon. Simply ridiculous add on.
Mr @Beavis, I agree with you completely about the infected damage reduction on the head zone, and although I'd rather see it gone completely at least allowing the 2-handers to one (heavy) hit them would be a good middle ground. Also... the only way to reset the action circle, when a prisoner is breaking out, is to hit them. This leads to unnecessary deaths.

I've also tried everything to solve it myself but I'm clueless and getting hopeless :)
As far as the complaints go, and suggested fixes, nothing seems to have resolved the issue. Pretty sure I've attempted to resolve this (going by what others are saying worked for them). I've altered every file on a local DayZ server using a 'test_cube' mod that I created, and the validation issue persists. Any chance bohemia staff can provide us an explanation we can work, with while we wait for the hotfix, so we might be able to work around the problem?

It does not work. I got the same issue and nothing helps. Its been almost a week since we cant play on any modded servers on Namalsk. We are getting more and more frustrated.
Agreed, I would maybe even make it so that gunshots have even more range than it used to, by like 20-30% more in an effort to make shooting more risky so players would hear others easier.
so ive gone through and updated everything. clocked everything. still having problems joining servers. i can access the server lists (standard and DZSA launcher) buldozer mode brings up loading screen with the picture/red loader line. crashes with a error of violation. i start it up out of buldozer and all i get is a black screen.
hopefully ive given enough info that you are able to help me.

I've spoken to 2-3 people whom have got it working by running the launcher in administrator mode.
Perhaps try that?
- locate the DayZLauncher.exe (usually in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DayZ) and right-click DayZLauncher.exe
- Choose Run as Administrator and accept the pop up.
Hey guys, just some info:
I have completely deleted the game from my pc, deleted the Dayz folder and !Workshop folder as well.
Re-installed the game from steam, downloaded the mods from steam workshop (for example the mods you need for DayOne server).
Runned the DayZ official launcher, it recognised all of the mods. Tried to join a DayOne Namalsk server with agreeing to load all the neccessary mods, and still I have recieved the same error message again. "Data verification error. Client is missing a mod which is on the server....."
That's a bit disappointing if there's no intention of changing or at least improving upon this behavior. I had always assumed it was "placeholder" to some degree, because it results in some silly infected behavior.

Hello again, I tested this again by removing the profile and logging in again - and this time the values were again 2200 and 1375.8242 respectively. So I will change the Reproducibility to Sometimes.

The infected always prioritize the visible targets over the sounds or are switching to players which are closer to them. This behaviour is intended.

We are also trying to join to servers which has only 2 mods (Namalsk Survivor, Namalsk Island) and those are also unplayable.
