Statistics seem bugged or for wrong player

Description

The player statistics on the main screen seemed reasonable before I joined a server. I had survived 25 hours or so and had killed no players or infected. After I joined a server and played for a while, I left the server. There on the main screen it said I had been alive for 1 hour, killed a player and 6 infected.

Start game, see stats about yourself on main screen.
Play on a server, then quit to main screen.
See completely different statistics.

Additional Information

Version 1.03 on stable.

This problem still exists although it was fixed in 1.06!

Still happening as of today, March 21, 2021.
A friend and I both noticed we had the same exact stats, that of apparently a random player. Neither of us had killed anybody but both had 12 player kills, over 300 infected, and the same exact time survived. Neither of us had anything like that.

Issue is still present, April 25, 2021.
This is after update 1.12.

This issue persists through 1.16 on official servers.

This issue warrants a higher severity than "minor", as it puts false information on the title screen for nearly every single person who plays the game.

I think it's never gonna happen xD This bug makes me angry since 300 hours of gaming xD

Are you kidding?
Nearly three years, now version 1.16, and still the same "minor" issue?
Just take the statistics out! They drive me crazy every time I have to see them.
Or the authplayerloginstate-bug.

Who the .... needs anything new if these fundamental things are still not working?
Nobody! No player! No casual player. No hardcore player. It simply does not make sense.

Maybe it is more fun to develop something new, but it is your work! You are here for us! Not for your own pleasure!
Whoever is responsible for sceduling the tasks in your team should leave. NOW! TODAY! Or chose another job inside the team!
Your whole attitude about bug fixing would be ridiculous if it wouldn't be so sad!
We have paid for the game and we deserve something better from you!
So please: you are approaching the 1.17 patch. GO FOR BUGFIXING!

I don't work for BI, but this issue is still marked "open", you do not need to comment saying it still persists. They are aware. Unfortunately it seems like we are still waiting on the fix.

And Milusulim... you have the nerve to write "kind regards" after that entitled rant! My friend you don't get to set the priorities of BI. I know the bug sucks but treat people with respect.

Still I am actually not sure, they are aware. Or better said: They care...
My point about fixing versus implementing new stuff seems common critic in the community.
Look at streamers like Apfelnudel on youtube. Proven fans of the game who streamed hundreds of hours finally turning away disappointed just because of that.
But beside my (our) critics:
It is a great game and I appreciate that and therefor I ment and mean it:
