@Geez Thank you for replying! Despite avoiding to answer the question. I assume it isn't amongst top priority then, but at least we know it is still being worked on.

@Geez From BI's "DayZ in 2020"-article, we've learned that bug fixing and optimization are the main focus of the continued development in 2020. Given, that there has been quite the negative response regarding this article, due to the fact that community-members can't fit all the PROMISED FEATURES in the "some new small-scale content"-statement within this "DayZ in 2020"-article, I want to ask you:
@Geez Thanks!

@Geez Thank you!
@Geez Since the 1.06 Patch notes mentioned fixes related to inventory (listed below) and not all tickets that are assumed to be resolved are in fact marked as such, could you please provide us with an update as to whether this issue is still assigned and being worked on?
Dec 12 2019
@Geez Video updates have been provided as you've requested. The issue is ongoing and has notably increased in appearance. Could we get an update please?
I can confirm the issue happening precisely as described and shown by @Col_Kernel Thank you for the detailed report and effort put into it.

@Geez INTENDED/REVIEW?
@Geez INTENDED/REVIEW?
@Geez INTENDED/REVIEW? @purpleurkltv Cars despawn on next server restart, once the engine has been ruined in a car crash. This is currently intended behaviour.
@Geez RESOLVED
@Geez CLOSE/EMPTY
@Geez DUPLICATE of T139497 @bnasrich When a car crashes, the engine becomes ruined, which currently cannot be repaired. The server then despawns the car upon server restart. For your other car, there is a major bug the moves cars when servers restart, resulting in them being repositioned and often times destroyed, resulting in them being despawned. This is a known bug and being looked into T139497

@Diiixn Was the radiator filled with water?
@Geez OUTDATED
@Geez RESOLVED/INTENDED @roysmajky The radiator is in the game for a reason. It's a vital part of how a car functions. The radiators job, is to cool the engine, thus your battery didn't run out of juice, but your engine was ruined due to overheating. This is intended behaviour. When a car is ruined, it is despawned upon server restart. For your next car, attach a radiator and fill it up. I would however not encourage you to invest the time and effort before this major bug T139497 is fixed.

@logstudent1988 Did you turn off the engine after the accident?

@NewSamuel Can you exclude the possibility that it was stolen?
@Beav Was the radiator filled up? To my knowledge, the radiatior needs to be filled around 70-100%, otherwise the cooling will fail, resulting in a ruined engine after driving for a bit.
@Geez OUTDATED/RESOLVED
@Geez I believe this can be CLOSED as radiators can only be properly filled when attached to the loop. If the option to fill the radiatior at a well is still in (I haven't checked) I would suggest removing that, but this ticket is OBSOLETE.
@twgolf66 There is no official mention that the issue described in this ticket has been fixed. Stating that you did not encounter the issue, is not evidence that the issue has been resolved. Additionally, I want to inform you, that the functionality of the car feature, specifically the driving, is in strong dependance of server sided work load.
Dec 9 2019
@Geez Not a bug. @Stoneypanda213 When a car crashes hard, the engine gets ruined which is irrevertable. The car is then despawned after server restart. So the issues was the stutter, not that the car wasn't repairable or in fact disappeared.

@Beavis Good to hear someone likeminded.
@Beavis Yeah thanks, I'm kind of tired though about us having to "shed light" on this subject. I want to hear, that they're working with top priority on this, because it's GAME. FEATURE. BREAKING. and if they're not working on it with top priority, I want to know why.

@Beavis Thanks for sharing the observations. If you ask me it's a shame we get to hear so little about the progress regarding this. Even though they are now slowly reintroducing features and in great fashio, which I compliment them for, the game is still pretty barebones in terms of end game goals. There still is base building and getting a car. And one of those is completely broken. I've seen no other game that has these weird physics with the cars jittering and jumping around. The throwing physics on the other hand look phenominally well and smooth. There is a distinct lack of communication regarding this issue and quite frankly it pisses me off and deterrs me from playing the game atm, because after almost 3k hours in this game, I want some reliability and not have my journey ruined due to a car killing me or have my hard earned car just disappear...
Nov 23 2019
@springby Yeah, it's a disaster. Game feature breaking issue. I would like for the existing features to be rock solid functional before getting new features in...

@Geez What is going on with this weird army of advertisement bots flooding the feedback tracker lately? See above.

@adam588 I've just received an update, bad news:
@adam588 Not yet.

"Hi Geez, the year is coming closer to it's end and while alot of great things have happened in terms of DayZ becoming the game it was always meant to be and more, the thing that this ticket was for has not yet been noticably changed or
addressed. Is it still on the list for THIS year. Any update would be highly appreciated :)"
@adam588 I'm going to ask Geez on the ticket he marked as "Custom Policy". Will update here if I receive an answer.
I agree. To say the very least it's not very polished/tweaked yet...

@Geez Can you please tell us if the devteam thinks this problem is even fixable at all? Given how long it's been present now, I assume it's on a deeper level codewise. With Livonia announced, chances are there will be a rush of new players, who will work for cars and then witness them miracolously disappear...which, yeah, that's not too good. Please!
