Arma 3 Activity

Bump
Perhaps I should upgrade my OS to 64 bit. I was under the impression that Arma 3 can run with a 32 bit version. Im just not sure why it keeps crashing with the memory issue.
Something worth noting, if you're using a 32bit OS, I'm assuming you're also using a 32bit version of Arma 3. No 32bit executable can actually use 16GB of RAM.
I actually installed Voicemeeter and am using a Logitech G35 currently, and it works wonderfully. I've done nothing but play Arma for 4 days.

unfortunately after installing the latest Logitech driver this doesn't work

Your imaginary 10-30 people sitting in an EVAC chopper, tipping over and exploding constantly occurs within the game.
that voicemeeter didnt work for me
So I've managed to launch game by switching it to 32-bit mode.
However, I think that this issue should be solved because 64-bit mode has better performance
Wooow thats funny. Never actually looked there
Found a spot on Malden where the sea depth is >100m and aircraft appear to take off ok.
Disabling Steam overlay and running through Steam might do the trick as well.
After a few more days of tests I'd like to clear up my last message.
I do still get mass kicks without battleye filters, they are just not as frequent.
As you guys have said its clearly not the cause of the problem, just me shooting myself in the foot with the amount of filters I had.
The physics improvements are not 20 years away its more like : Its there but its too late to change the whole system. Physx is shit sry all Nvidia users but it is there are some competitors that are way better like Havoc

Unfortunately, it did not help me. I followed the steps described in the solution but still the same.
Strangely enough, I've just found out that it can start straight from the local files. If I ommit Steam, it starts with not problem. Steam is definitely up to date.
Gaming Asylum has extensive logging inside of Splunk of data around the times this issue occurs. I'm happy to provide data to BIS as necessary.
Hi. Seems i found a source of a problem. When i am using my Bluetooth headphone this error happen. When i connect headphone to computer via cable, Arma work fine.
Thanks and it amazes me what could be possible, especially with many parts ripping off in Arma. But, since it´s nearly impossible to run a such dynamic system without having lag spikes down to -2000 fps in hell.....
We can maybe talk about that in 20 years.
How about weapon resting for the Laserdesignator?
Is that even possible?
The Problem is not the "change the hitpoint" but Arma has many hitpoints that can even diffirintiate the damage done to them. Cars for example do not explode always sometimes they just leave a wreck or smoke if they are shot by non incendiary ammunition. But a car is a car and remains mostly in 1 part when destroyed. when a heli crasehs it falls apart. Doing that in a static manner will mean it looks damn ugly since the parts could float high up in the air or stuff like that.
Doing it Physx enabled , means the parts that will break apart would have their own trajectories and stuff(since you have to change that for mid air destruction too). That would mean creating a method to do that and more performance impact to calculate the parts.
Could a developer please annouce or describe why exactly this is so difficult to comply?
Works perfectly
Our life servers are suffering from this as well. Some servers suffer from it more than others even though they all run the same mission. We tried disabling BE filters but we still suffered mass kicks regularly. This is a very serious issues since when mass kicks happen players lose progress and money in game.

@Wilco Asylum is keeping an eye on this. Seems based on our internal experiments that a hard restart alleviates the issue, but if left unchecked the server will continue to kick every time it fills back up (every 15 mins or so) until it naturally hard restarts.
The tool isn't meant to extract mission files which are a little different, I will adjust the code to reflect this. Please, use BankRev.exe as described here for mission files:

Entry to the server limits the selection of the team of players and slots of the specialty. The server loses its players and the popularity of the server falls. Is there any progress in resolving the problem?
thank you for the feedback.
thank you for the feedback. Could you please also provide info about the specific area you need to enter for the game to crash?
thank you for your feedback.
thank you for your feedback.
unfortunately they still have AA targeting brains so they are sniping infantry through trees/foliage, caring only about line of sight
Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks to the author mods, for its implementation. A great performance that works great.

I was able to reproduce this, thanks.
Thats what i meant. Change the beta Tab in steam to dev build and test it
Alright, appears to be fixed on Dev Build 1.73.142227
Was trying again today...
And nothing. Same issue. Entered the game, and after 1 minute get an error.
If you need any additional information, you free to ask

My mistake. I'm only aware of the armament provided in KOTH servers so that's what I thought you were referring to. Didn't know it came with other weapon systems so thanks for the info!
