Take the remote laser designator physical setup and make that available as the laser designator for JTACs to eliminate laser spot wobble. Any laser designator would be mounted on a tripod for stability. The smallest movement at the desgnator results in massive "snaking" (doctrinal terminology here) that produces targeting errors for laser tracking and weapon guidance.
