Reviving this thread to advocate with the above posters for a first person only server or more than one. As has been said this creates a more "hardcore experience" that encourages players to compete within the game and world rather than by using perspectives to gain additional information they would not otherwise have without risking their head.
The biggest custom servers advertise as being more "hardcore" or "Simulator" but in reality they make the game much easier in almost every way except one. First person. Having an official server that is locked in first person gives more of that competitive edge without much of the added fluff or simplified systems that the custom servers can't seem to run without. I think there is enough players who enjoy the official or "vanilla" experience but would gladly take the added challenge and "fairness" of locked first person view to populate these servers. Maybe i and others advocating for this are wrong, but i struggle to see the negative side of having the choice, especially when many official servers don't fill even during peak hours.
At the very least why not gauge interest with the players themselves? Have a poll on your discord, YouTube, or other communities.

BUG: GHOST BAG: Random Floating bag/pouch/backpack that moves so fast it becomes transparent and it floats above you and gives away your position if you're prone. Not sure how to replicate it but I do know I've seen this happen to me a couple times and I know it's visible to other players as I've seen it on other players quite a few times. It's the default pouch we all start with from what I know (the tan satchel that lays on your back right hip), never seen it happen to any other bags/backpacks.

Bug: Weapons and Body parts clipping through houses (mainly legs while proned and backed against a house wall. (This is a huge concern considering there's an amazing "wallbang" mechanic in this game that allows bullets to penetrate certain objects, you guys are amazing for this!) My suggestion is, if you want people to be able to be pron in the corner of a build backed up as far as possible, make someone cross their legs? Make clipped bodyparts/weapons become partially invisible while clipping through an object, Disable clipping entirely by having gun models/animations press against objects and be moved closer to the player model, the list goes on of possible fixes.

BUG: There's some rocks in the mountains by the houses in Fiske Fabrikk near where the signal tower sometimes spawns in the top right corner of the map that you can third person and force your camera into the rocks to see through the rocks.

UPDATE: On the TAB KEY not working in pre-game lobbies to show detailed information. I feel this is some kind of overload of key-presses or some jumbling of the menu items causing it to tweak out, maybe a lack of a high enough number to open the window it's bugging out and the window then refuses to open. It almost ALWAYS Happens when hitting a bunch of window options and spamming key presses (like if you're in the shooting range and you're spamming the retry keys to re-do the challenge and your game has popped and you're pressing those buttons after your queue has been found but before loading in, if you're pressing any of that stuff while it's about to load it tweaks it out) <------ possible reason not sure, I'm not a game dev, at least not in this current life i'm not, thanks.

The crash dump points towards nvppex.dll file, indicating a problem with your GPU drivers. Please do a clean installation and check your OS for any corrupted installations/files. Also make sure your system is up to date.
Disabling HWAA in the game might resolve the issue but the root cause is somewhere on your system.
There is also a chance that if you are running Nvidia app instead of Ge-force experience that that is the cause of the problem.

Yall need to chill out man must be knew to this game something always happens on update or close to it. You know dang well your still going to play the game in the end you can live on day without a video game. Literally every update something happens like last one with the restart loops. And the one that was duplicate jsons. Not saying what they did wasn’t wrong cause they have a lot to work on starting with communication especially to the people that pay for servers and play this game heavy

Hello Vigor, I’m still not able to enter the Shelter and keep getting Error 0. I’ve deleted the game, reinstalled it again 5 times, deleted the “LoadOuts_SaveGame”, updated to the latest update as well and still can’t figure out why I can’t enter the shelter and play? I tried both PS4 and PS5 too. Any solution anyone? Much appreciated

How on earth do you guys have the audacity to mark this as “Closed, Resolved” I want a full refund for my game. I will not sit back for days and watch people stream and make money off of a game, I payed for and can’t even play. You guys have got your priorities all wrong, the irony is insane. Listening to streamers make money and play while we get told nothing, and just sit here with a whole load of nothing for our money.

There is no further information I can provide. As posted on our social media and by me on countless tickets here. We are aware of the issue and we are working to get it resolved as soon as possible. There is no ETA currently I can provide and I am going to close this ticket as there is nothing else for discussion nor there is any information I can provide at the moment. Checked the audio settings in Xbox? Some certain settings will cause issues but only on some games.

Simply I just want control animal by speed and turn, his movement in world should be based on entityposition movement/rotation as is visible in animeditor video above, not by overriding heading or turnspeed.

This has been going on since roughly 1130 am on 1 Oct. It seems they accidently released 1.26 but it wasn't ready and has broken the game completely. But hey, the streamers on PC got to play the new map while the devs ignored us.

Also been trying to find another way of showing how bad the curvature is for dayz and I think I have done it
The yellow line is full curvature bar the red is 20/20 and the blue is the curvature bar empty I have done this test 5 times and always had the same results the squiggly bit between 65%and80% and the deadzones
