Hello holsten.
Please try to delete the configuration file - D:\users\holsten\Documents\DayZ\DayZ.cfg. Also make sure Steam cloud sync is disabled prior to doing so.
Removing the DayZ.cfg file should resolve the issue (new one will be generated upon DayZ launch).

Thanks for contributing to the topic, I kindly ask that if you have friends who have already died to hackers on official servers, ask them to contribute here too, maybe that way we can get attention from bohemia...

I'll have to admit! The game has been doing good with new updates for the past 2 years. The best thing to do is stay away from official servers. That doesn't mean there won't be hackers on community servers, but its probably the best thing to do for now.

Yeah, stay away from official servers.
Just got killed by a cheater and based on the stats displayed he has been doing this for days.
Server is DayZ NL 3664728 HC{F2717004}
might be a local issue for your internet, probably some cut offs that occur.
Maybe the question would be, what triggers the dismantle gate option ? is it a selection in the model ?
I published MoreAdminLogs mod source code on github https://github.com/abrakadobr/dzsa-moreadminlogs - if DayZ developers want include it into production - it will be very nice :)

I have been un able to reconnect after playing for the past hour on my regular vanilla server. No mods are active, I have started the game and my computer, still no luck.
i have the same, i guess it takes all of the players stuff or random whatever ;) i never had my right info
I have discovered the reason. Nvidia Game filters.
Tested this today (again) on a local server (no mods) and can confirm this bug. client and server both latest version for pc (steam).
@alexsys mentioned they were playing fullscreen. I can confirm I get this issue in fullscreen, but can ALT-TAB for hours in Windowed mode without any issue. Would prefer to play in fullscreen though due to better performance, overall.

Will update you on the parameters reset, but I'm PRETTY CERTAIN I've already passed this, since its a very old issue, came along since I've even reinstalled the game fresh, after patch 1.17.

Does this crash occur only on a specific server? And can you please upload the archive generated when the crash occurs and you press the "Show and prepare report" button?

Can you please provide a dxdiag file? Also, are you running any mods? Does this occur on the vanilla version of the game?
And does this problem persist upon doing the following?
@Geez sorry for taking so long to get back I literally quit dayz not to long after a bunch of issues.
I do that but the freeze still here, is not too annoying but don't know hot to solve it completely. I think that this is a game problem, exist various articles in this page about that. Anybody think that Bohemian can solve this problem forever???

If you spawn cars using the admin tools, then their endurance is ok, you can poke into obstacles for a long time. But if the car appears on map naturally, then it falls apart from a light touch, despite pristine parts and a 'green' indicator.
After weekends of learning modding, I developed my own solution: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2805509362
This is server-side mod with more logs.
It write logs into ADM files, using GetGame().AdminLog() so server should be started with -adminLog option.
Mod is configured via serverDZ.cfg (main server config) file, and allows print logs in human readable or json formats for automated parsers.
Not everything works fine, but in my opinion there are all minimum-required logs..
