Description

My friend and I were at the Prison Island which we had made our base.

I was building a fence, heard no one around, and had my sound up at full volume.

All of a sudden I dropped dead, no enemies around.

The base gate had a camo net on it, which would have kept the person from seeing me inside the base.

My buddy subsequently logged in after, to defend thinking we just got raided, and was instantly 1 shot killed.

We had T4 helmets on which would have guaranteed us just being knocked out by the first shot (I had this happen when I shot someone the other day).

Have a hacker come in the server with an area kill script, it's well known and has been put out there.

You guys have known about this hack for many years now, it's been constant, I can cite 50 posts on the DayZ reddit that have all been killed by the same thing.

The game is coming up on it's 10th year, and you guys don't seem to be even managing your servers. At this point, I've supported your company for nearly 20 years from Operation Flashpoint, but I'm starting to doubt your commitment to quality.

My friend alerted me that he had been killed near the entrance to our base on the prison island.

Within a few minutes time I logged in to defend our base. When I joined the server I was in the south corner of the prison yard inside a shelter, so it's far from line of sight to base entrance, and we had several locked doors between the entrance and my location.

In the few seconds after joining the server, there is time to look around surroundings before textures finish loading, and I had just enough time to look around and see that there was nobody in the prison yard and nobody in line of sight of my position.

About 5 seconds after I loaded in, before I even had time to leave my shelter, I suddenly dropped dead. There was no gunshot sound.

This happened between 9:50am and 10:00am EST

Please make sure you provide BattlEye with as much evidence possible, ideally a video or Steam ID of the hacker.

Already did that Geez with 0 response from them.

You guys are passing the buck dude, Battleye will not respond to us and we CANNOT get the steamID of the hacker if its on an official server.

Please advise how we are supposed to do that?

Second time @Geez I'm reaching out on this, we cannot get the steam ID of the hacker due to it being an official, only you guys can through the server logs. So again please advise since BE is not responding.

If you are unable to get the Steam ID as the problem occurred on official server, then any other information provided to BattlEye will help.

@Geez sorry for taking so long to get back I literally quit dayz not to long after a bunch of issues.

But BE has never gotten back to me regarding the scripting/hacking issues. It's time for you guys as I said to Jiri in an email today to set up a security team for DayZ.
