Playing on DayZ US - LA 5540 (Temporary), I remove a damaged clothing item to repair it; note that it's damaged, not ruined. The item immediately despawned. This was on the second level (hay loft) in a barn at 8180.42 / 13239.16 per the Chenarus map at https://dayz.ginfo.gg/chernarusplus/. I searched each level of the structure both inside and out and the item and all items inside it had despawned. I dropped another item (farming hoe) in the same area and it ended up embedded in the wall and floor, but it was still viewable/accessible as an item in the vicinity view.
