My game crashed when I was trying to log into the server. A black screen occurs and something poped up that said "Dayz is not responding. If you close the program, you might lose infromtation." I had two options from that either to close the program or wiat for the program to respond. This happened on the 5/14/2022. A night before, I was playing just fine and on the 14th I tried entering the game and that black screen poped up.

I've tried restarting my computer completely and re-downloaded the game once again but the same problem still occurs.

Can you please try the following?:
Verify the game data through Steam and delete the configuration files when prompted to do so (make sure Steam cloud sync is disabled for DayZ before doing this) - you can also delete the config files manually by clearing the C:\Users\*username*\Documents\DayZ folder
Open the DayZ launcher
Select PARAMETERS menu
Select ALL PARAMETERS tab
scroll down and check "Bulldozer" parameter
Launch the game
Once launched, close the game
Uncheck bulldozer
Launch the game again without any parameters
