Yes this sounds more like a freeze, in such case there will not be a dump generated which wont tell us much about what is happening.
Can you try the following?:

well, it usually says "DayZ stopped working" and it has never recovered. When I move to close the game, it shows me the "Dayz has closed unexpectedly"-screen. I can try to let it run a bit on the next crash, but I'm pretty sure the game will not recover from that. So maybe it's a Freeze and then a crash?

I can also vouch for the performance issues, I have been playing with two other players and all of us had the same problem.
Any other players walking around appear super laggy and makes PVP unplayable.

Very interesting report and link to solution. I noticed it these days and was wondering because I have never seen such purple skies around where I live, so was wondering if that was accurate. Good to know it has been assigned already.

Just looking for an answer as to whether there was perhaps and unplanned server wipe on one/some of the servers to address possible performance issue? Believe it's LA 5624.

It seems the gun was already deleted on server when DayZPlayerCommandDeathCallback::OnSimulationEnd is reached so it cannot be dropped, what remains visible on client is just a "ghost". This also explains why cutting up the body doesn't help.

I agree. Trees seem way too loud.

We suggest that you try to uninstall/unsubscribe all your mods, then verify the game data and re-download the mods again.

We suggest that you update all of your drivers, Windows and check for any corrupted files and installations.
Also delete the DayZ folder from the documents and then verify game data through Steam - Make sure Steam cloud sync is disabled prior doing so.

I have turned off Cloud Sync, and it still gives me this error. I think I know what the problem is and I wanna say it's Microsoft onedrive. Not entirely sure if it is and I have tried to uninstall it; however it removes my documents folder and I can no longer access them until I re-download. The good news is that I can play on community servers and have to use DZSA to access them.

Also, I would like to point out that placing a trap does not log to any file, can you look into that please?

Like if you run through the trap, it activates and if you walk slow, it doesn't? Is that on purpose?

Only when you run through it.

This is possibly a corrupted file in either your drivers or OS.
Please try to reinstall your drivers and make sure there are no corrupted files/installations on your OS.

This has been resolved for one of the future updates.

As Bosmo has mentioned, this is a problem related to Windows 7.
We are very likely not going to resolve this as Steam will stop supporting Windows 7 from January 2024 - making you unable to play DayZ on Windows 7 anyway.

This issue is related to the windows 7 OS. We are very likely not going to fix the problem as Windows 7 will stop being supported by Steam from january 2024 - meaning you will not be able to run DayZ on Windows 7 anyway.

Do you have Steam CLoud Sync Disabled? As it could be redownloading faulty files if its enabled.
