I found out that if you have the Nvidia overlay on the game will crash and if you turn it off it will run like normal.

I was recently banned while not even playing the game or having my computer on. I’m not sure what’s going on or what happened. I have roughly 5k hours in game and a good majority of them are actually admin hours in which I catch cheaters myself. I’ve reached out to everyone I could think of and they’ve all told me they’re not responsible for it in someway or another so this is my last resort so I hope I’m in the right spot.

I haven't seen anything, I did see they posted 5 days ago on X, that they were "consolidating" servers due to less demand from previous launches.
Has there been any communication with BI about this issue? I haven't checked back on Expansion Discord, but last I read they were also thinking these are BI issues.
Forced to run these scripts for pumpkins to grow normally. We are not the only ones suffering form this. Hopefully they can pitch in here shortly

Sadly still getting crashes. Less frequent but still happening. Airdrops turned off.

I can confirm turning off DayZ expansion air drops has stoped the crashing on my server after the 1.27 update, also I removed a KOTH that was not working properly

This is a known crash that is being worked on.
It should not occur 100% of the time though. You could try to verify the game data through Steam and delete the DayZ documents folder (Steam cloud sync should be disabled prior).

If this is on an official server you can relog to another server that shares your character which will result in character position reset. If this is on a community server, then you will have to contact the server owner/admin.

I was seeing that as well. Another odd thing I'm seeing with no error messages specific to really hint so far at it is sometimes players will join, and suddenly it's as if nothing works anymore. Players will see there are people online, they can walk around. No one can loot, access inventory, picking things up doesn't work, health and bars stop working. People will leave and then nothing works until the server restarts. Sometimes after a restart one or two of the players having the issue rejoin and it crashes. Other times the server will just disconnect after an hour.
At this point i have actually done a fresh wipe on my server, made sure gcc is updated, reinstalled the game entirely and it doesn't seem to matter if it's vanilla or if it is modded, it'll behave for a little while and then the behavior starts again with the same symptoms of people getting access errors, server crashes, and overall strange server behavior. So far have not seen any responses from BI. I see other stating they had issues with airdrops and stopping using that fixed it, however, I am not using any such mod, and have witnessed the behavior even without a list of mods (reduced my server down to just the map).
Likewise with the weird behaviors, if I wipe players.db everyone can suddenly play for a short period of time till a crash, then inevitably people either cannot join, or join and get crashes, or client side crashes. If I transfer that players.db (the broken one) to another server, even another platform (linux, windows, doesn't matter), I can reproduce the behavior.

I can't prove a negative but I can confirm that I haven't yet seen this issue on an official server I started on the same machine.
