so sad than looking at past BIS dev records its likely that they will do the cheap thing (i blame them for running out of resources after developing 4 games at the same time being a small indie dev company)
Frank, missiles are shot from below, rotors are above, and even if somehow the rotors are COMPLETELY destroyed then the momentum would avoid it make it fall like a rock
BIS is not gona add new important simulation features because they are, either too greedy, or too lazy
agree, and i would also like to see somehow remaking the idea of MGS1 of making a super strong chopper with 3 hitpoints that deal same damage, and the chopper being able to stand up to 20 stinger missiles.
Why a MGS mod? because i think ArmA is perfect for a MGS mod, but i am drifting off topic

AFAIK they just slightly illuminate or it doesn't work with NVG
ACOGs are on both US army and USMC, i dont know in what future they would replace them for just some AOGs (was that their name?)
Also, i know its not about the game, but if it takes place on the real life, MX rifles would be useless. Squared standar 6.5 rifles? that's a no, if they wanted something better they should have used the SCARs or a bullpup.

i think just making a hit detection as a heart its fine, or making a hit detection of vital organs zones in wich FAK wont heal them, and needs a medic yes or yes
6.5 are nto new, and being new or old bullets doesnt change the penetration, while its true that 6.5 should do more damage, i think its not a good relation between 5.56 and 6.5 damage like how it should be in real life
Bez: the game DOES simulate AI thumble, but its VERY rare and almost useless, player thumble happends almost all the time.

Bez, it seems like if you dont know too much about the contact of a 5.56 in the body, yes, i see you are a combat medic (of whatever kind of class or military branch) but i doubt a supersonic 5.56 can make a 90º turn in the shoulder and hit the brain and penetrate it. besides, i have heard of USMC that their 5.56 in the M16 (think about how the M16 deals more damage than the M4) was so weak, they had to shot 9 bullets (3 times in burst) to kill a contact in CQB (50-100 meters if i recall correctly) and even though the guy died, he lived a bunch of minutes more.
and the reason why 7.62 its so deadly its because it makes you think it explodes in the middle of the human flesh, because when you shot it to somebody it looks like a small hole, but if it penetrated to the other side you see most of the rear part blown up.
fragmentation isn't really neccessary, as its very weird for most of the bullets to break in impact.
Bez, when i say damage i mean a point in between the bullet penetration-speed-bullet weight-bullet size.
and while true, 2 5.56 to the torso should kill, remember everybody in the game is using 2035 bulletproof vest, wich is likely to be either Dragon Skin body armor or even better.
well.... i doubt an M16 can damage more than a FN FAL... but at least we agree on the ticket.
Dev. build, last days of alpha in dev build give you the pre-BETA, that's how i got it, but please dont go off topic, in real life the TAVOR may be ALMOST as precise and almost the same range as the M16A2/A4, besides having little more damage and being a small med-weight Bullpup, you would think that a new ver. in 2035 would make it lighter, with more range and accuracy and a bigger damage, just like the change between the L85A1 (unaccurate) and the L85A2 (VERY accurate)

so this only affects "K", only in server-side for 1 server.... have you asked the admin about that? maybe its a special script that creates the sound when K is pressed

my god..... everything is bindeable but the F- keys, and its because they are 100% important, they are as important as basic movement, sometimes even more important, i dont think we should have the option to rebind them if no one is gonna do it
i explained why..... your head does not cover the whole glass of the optic, between the head and the optics there is enough room for the light to pass trough.
If we get techy, however, the optics shouldn't work with NVG on

yeh, saw it too, but its not just THIS chopper, it happends to most of the helicopters in-game
not really, not in .74 at least, and dont make me start ranting about how the searchlights for any aircraft wont really illuminate
not a bug, it was just that the NATO rifleman helmet logo in the inventory and the Assassin helmet in the Opfor Recon Scout looks pretty much alike, dont know if that's intentional
i think just mirroring the animations should be enough
i dont think playing as a right handed is too much annoying, after all, in real life most of the weapons wouldn't work the same with left handed people (unlike the Steyr Aug, maybe the AK-74 and the TAVOR, wich could be used from left handed shooters) but it would be a nice touch, just like having female soldiers, either as insurgency, Op For, Blufor, or even to be able to use them as soldiers

No, it does not combines the apache, and vryo, TRG-20 and TRG-21 are both TAR-21, just that one of them is short barreled and the other one is long barreled.
All of your examples are from either prototypes or existing guns, so nothing in there is fictional, humans believe evolution its gonna be faster than it actually is, in the 50' people though we would be traveling to mars in 4 minutes before 1990, and barely anything changed.

KA-60 and MK14 EBR (alpha) were not placeholders, they were real, google them, however, H-9, UH-80, TRG, MX, APD, they are all placeholders, and i doubt why did they added the AH-66 (AH-99 its also a placeholder) comanche to the game, if the chopper proyect was refused at the 90's
M18 EBR it is a placeholder then, i mean name placeholder, and yes, TRG its a placeholder, MH9 is it too
"TRG-20/21" its a TAR-21, most of the helicopters....... ALL of the helicopters have placeholders names (even the UH-80 wich its just a stealth UH-60, no changed name for the variant), the green army pistol its a M1911A1, EBR is an M14, etc.
AD, arma 3 is FILLED UP with strange placeholders anyway
the AH-99 its the AH-66 comanche, not a fictional helicopter, just alike the TRG-20, maybe the MX, and the AH-9, most of the names in the game are (sadly) Placeholders
The Mi-48 and the AH-60 are completely different vehicles, and i highly doubt the apache can be used with just a gunner
i BARELY think i understood what you meant, but i think you want scopes and optics to have a better zoom, wich i think no one will agree, you can steal the marksman combat optics in infantry showcase if you want to.
the ACP its based on the M1911A1, and the bad bullet mags are a confirmed issue

Ok..... hang gliders cant be added, they cant be added to "balance" because i haven't seen iranian SPECOPS deploying inserctions in hang gliders, and even then, it would be a pretty funy sight.

Akinari, what i meant its that military police are never deployed in the front, they are just a police for the military forces, or soldiers in reserve, adding military police to the game would be unrealistic and stupid, and like i stated above, i haven't seen no military cop doing anything the ticket mentions, its more of like something ANY REGULAR cop would do, and MP ain't no common cop
i haven't seen the MP doing anything of the things you mentioned in the ticket, sounds more like common police, besides, as far as i know, military police only works inside their own country, you didn't saw military police in vietnam or military police in afghanistan. (after all, the US army itself its like a police department, LOL)

bez, i am sure you do, but mostly people like common infantry, that's why people loved OFP, 3 VERY HARD Spec ops missions that really needs pros at the game, a bunch of flying missions, armored combat missions, and infantry for the most of the time, being just 1 character and looking at his evolution trough the game from an US army private to a staff seargeant and even though its just a refference in some games, up to a company leader or the USS Keshan captain for the USMC in arma 2
AD, the problem was not the gameplay itself but the missions, secondary missions (alike Op manhattan) and things like scripts, they dont work good in a CO OP story
i'd like to have a co-op OFP campaign, nobody likes actually the spec ops campaign, not even with MP, Op Arrowhead was the BIS team trying to take one of the things that people loved from the OFP campaign, the fact that your character switches roles every mission, but nobody gets that what PLAYERS LOVED about the OFP campaign was that 90% was just you as a regular infantry and the story developed with each one of the characters in the war.
TL;DR:
I want Co-op in arma 3 only if you play as an common infantry soldier

i will just support at 100% a voice comm. mod/program/tool when they also take into account the direction of the voice (where is my mouth when speaking, incluiding speaking when looking up or down), materials in wich sound waves go thru, materials that increase Eco, incluiding world in general.

maybe in the future, nowdays a marksman rifle and an AP rifle would be pretty much the same, the MK14 EBR from the opfor its both of them at the same time
